Hey everyone! We're excited to announce our latest SMITEFire Challenge, a new type of community event that will spice up your SMITE matches! Since we're all trying to adapt to our new routines while in quarantine, we have decided to come up with something fun for our community to better cope with the situation, all while earning some fancy skins! :)

SMITEFire Challenge - Egyptian Versatility!

Beat this week's challenge of tanking or dealing 25.000 damage to players with an Egyptian God and have the chance to be one of our winners!

You're free to attempt this challenge in any Joust, Conquest, Siege or Clash match against players using any Egyptian God. Remember to focus on the enemy Titan though, winning the match is the ultimate goal while our challenges are a fun bonus! ;)

There will be 10 winners chosen randomly from all the eligible participants that will receive an Awesome Chest each.

Only matches that are played during this week (Monday, 27th - Sunday, 3rd PST) and have beat the challenge are eligible.

Clarification: You must tank or deal at least 25.000 damage to players while playing any Egyptian God. Meeting one of the two conditions is enough to participate. Winning the match is not necessary for this challenge. Good luck! :)

How To Participate
  1. You must have a SMITEFire account to be able to participate. Don't have an account? You can create one here.

  2. Play during this week and try to beat the SF Challenge - Tank or deal 25.000 damage to players with an Egyptian God.

  3. Once the SMITEFire Challenge has been fulfilled, find the Match ID. (example)

  4. Reply to this post with the Match ID you've found and your in-game username. You can only submit one match!
    Note: Make sure your profile is not hidden during Monday so we are able to check your entry!

  5. That's it! Winners will be announced next Monday and will receive an email to claim their prize!
    Note: Your SMITE account level must be at least 20 to receive Awesome Chests. All platforms are eligible.

Note: 'Match Sniping' is prohibited and may not be used to fulfill the challenges (queuing in less active regions in order to get matched with friends to easily beat the challenges). Participants that are found to use 'Match Sniping' won't have the chance to win.

Hey Gulfwulf!

I have been thinking lately about including Assault, but after playing a few matches I had the feeling that it would be easier to beat the challenges than in other game modes, similar to the reason I haven't added Arena for the challenges.

Matches only held on a single lane with constant fighting will give you an easier time beating the challenge in comparison with the other game modes.

If you and other participants feel different, I could always include Assault if that's a popular game mode that people find fun, as long as you think it's a fair game mode to include in the challenges!

My experience is limited and I'm doing what I consider best, but feedback is always very welcomed and encouraged! :D

I would have to agree...the biggest teamfight modes like Arena and Assault (and to a slightly lesser degree in Clash) have a significantly easier time building up damage given or taken, healing, etc.

That said, it's not that we would want to exclude people from participating. But I also don't think this thing should be an automatic handout.

Don't know what you think about making the rules more complicated, but perhaps we can change the numbers a bit, and give 2 categories? One for Conquest/Joust/Siege, and one for Clash/Assault/Arena? (probably more complex than we'd like)

Let's face it, you guys can't handle my stats. :P

I can see the worry about Arena and Assault since they're both pretty much 100% team fight modes; I think the required numbers for those should be doubled for mitigated and maybe an extra 10k for damage done, so 50k mitigated or 35k done.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
