QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Match history now has a Scoreboard screen to show items
  • Savage Plus preset added
  • Game events are now sent to chat (like You have destroyed the fire giant)
  • Added "Auto Open Character Stats" Setting

Enhanced Context Ping and Auto VGS
  • When you Ping via "Middle Click" or Open VGS then Confirm(This is mainly for controller)
  • It will now snap to "major" targets. Gods, Towers, Titan, GF, FG, etc.
  • Depending if it is Friendly or Enemy, it'll auto play VGS.

Examples:
  • Enemy Towers, FG, Titan, etc. -> Attack the "X"
  • Friendly Structure -> Defend "X" Lane
  • Friendly Titan -> Defend the Titan
  • Enemy God -> Enemy Spotted

When you ping via Minimap it also does different behaviors.

Minimap has 3 specific ping types:
  • Normal
  • Attack (For KBM Middle Mouse)
  • Retreat/Defend (For KBM Right Click)
  • Normal ping will just work as how it is now. it won't auto play anything nor will it snap.

Attack + Retreat/Defend pings on the minimap will now auto play VGS depending on the target.
  • Attack pings are fairly self explanatory -> Attack the "X"
  • For retreat pings it plays different VGS depending on the target
    - Enemy God -> Careful
    - Friendly God -> Retreat
    - Friendly Structure -> Defend "X" lane
    - FG/GF -> Defend the "X"

Lastly, Auto VGS:
  • If a player "sees a ward put down" by an enemy, it'll auto play the ping + VGS "Ward Here"
    - The phrase "sees a ward put down" to be more descriptive is that the ward put down has to be within 5 seconds of it being "fresh" and the player has to have vision on it (Check being just doing our default FOW vision)
    - This is restricted 1 per player, so. even if multiple players sees the ward, only 1 player's VGS will go through.
  • If a player deals damage to FG/GF via inhand or offhand (Mainly to prevent accidental trigger from like passive aoe damage from items), it will auto play VGS "Attack the 'X'"
    - This has a team cooldown of 90 seconds. Mainly to prevent players spamming this VGS.

GOD BALANCE

Quick update on our plans and general philosophy for healing and Enchanter items. We will be rolling out these changes and items across the next 2 updates. The first update will include changes to anti-heal and god healing. The second update will include the enchanter item pass.

In the next patch we will be increasing anti-heal to 40% for both items and god abilities. The intention is for anti-heal to be powerful and generally accessible. With this change there will also be changes to many gods with healing abilities. The goal with these changes is for gods to fit into 3 main archetypes alongside a gradient for abilities based on how much of the ability is focused on healing vs other effects.

Archetype 1 is gods that are generally tanky. These gods will typically have lower base healing with moderate scaling since scaling incurs a defensive tradeoff.

Archetype 2 is gods with high damage across their kit. These gods will typically have low to moderate base healing with low to no scaling. These are gods where they have healing in their kit but it is not intended to have a significant impact on their gameplay.

Archetype 3 is gods that are not tanky and do not have high sources of damage across their kit. These gods will typically have moderate to high base healing as well as moderate to high scaling.

Within these archetypes there are still some differences based on the amount an ability is focused on healing as mentioned above. For example, Chaac Rain Dance will have better healing than Cabrakan Refraction Shield since more of the ability is focused around healing. This pass will also include some changes to better focus some gods and aspects into an enchanter playstyle such as Aphrodite and Eset aspect. Overall we expect healing to be a bit weaker overall into anti-heal but for gods that have healing as a main part of their kit to have access to better scaling options to offset the now stronger anti-heal. This should also be further supported in the second update which will include the enchanter item pass.
