NEW CLASSIC GOD


Gilgamesh
  • General
    - Melee Basic Attacks
    - Damage Type: Physical
    - Scaling Type: Strength Scaling
  • Passive: Epic of Gilgamesh
    - You wield artifacts that demand quests to unlock their true potential.
    - Sun-Forged Scimitar: Extend buff to max by hitting only gods 3 times.
    - Drop Kick: Drop Kick a target into a god 3 times.
    - Hero's Advance: Kill or assist 3 Gods affected by Hero's advance damage bonus
    - Winds of Shamash: Knockback a target off the wall 5 times
    - Each quest completed gives 100 gold + the upgrade!

  • Ability 1: Sun-Forged Scimitar
    - Ignite your sword for 3 seconds. Enemies around the ignition take Physical Damage and are slowed.

  • Ability 2: Drop Kick
    - Drop kick an area in front of you, dealing Physical Damage to enemies. The closest enemy is launched through them, taking bonus physical damage when hitting a minion or burst physical damage and stunned when hitting a God or wall.

  • Ability 3: Hero’s Advance
    - Leap to a target location dealing physical damage on impact. Create a beacon for 5 seconds.

  • Ultimate Ability: Winds of Shamash
    - Call the winds of Shamash at a target location. Enemies inside at the start take physical damage and are slowed. Enemies in the ring take physical damage. The outer wall heavily slows; your damage pulls them to the center.

  • Aspect releasing March 27
    - Aspect of Shamash
    -- Winds of Shamash is no longer an ultimate. Place a wind wall that transforms once with your next ability. Ignites from Sun-Forged Scimitar, solidifies from Drop Kick, or launches allies from Hero’s Advance. It can only transform once, granting you attack speed, tenacity, or Pathfinding until its next transformation.

NEW FEATURE - ANTI-LEAVER 2.0 - PHASE 1

  • This does not apply to Training, Jungle Practice, Quickplay, vs. AI, or Custom – It only applies to Classic and Ranked
  • Anti-Leaving In-Game Timer
    - Increased from 5s to 10s
    - Message Changed to make it more clear that players should not leave matches
    - Fixed to no longer be active in the End of Match Lobby
  • Leaver Points
    - Players who leave matches or dodge lobbies acquire Leaver Points
    - Upon reaching certain thresholds of Leaver Points, two things occur:
    -- Players see a message that explains their account has been penalized for leaving a match, and that leaving matches is bad. They must type "I Agree" that they will not abandon future matches to proceed past this screen.
    -- Players are sent to a Low Priority Queue before their next X matches. This requires them to wait an additional amount of time before they will find a match. The time required to wait scales up with points acquired. Playing matches without leaving reduces the number of leaver points you have.
    If a party is being delayed due to a Low Priority Queue party member, the party is notified.
    --- Players are notified in the End of Match Lobby that a Leaver is being punished and has a penalty
  • AFK Detection
    - This has been improved. Players are warned in-game for being AFK, and kicked at a certain time threshold.
    - If you are detected as AFK, you are punished as a Leaver with an additional punishment of Deserter so you cannot immediately join back.
  • Dodging Penalties
    - Dodging a Ranked Queue results in the loss of 60SR
    - Dodging any Lobby grants Leaver Points
  • Additional updates to this system are planned for future updates

GAMEPLAY

  • Shifted Tower shot prefire/postfire timing from 0.3s/0.7s -> 0.0s/1.0s
    - Previously there was a 0.3s delay before the tower would fire its first shot. This removes that delay to match parity with Smite 1. While it's not a huge buff to towers, it should make them feel more responsive when targeting gods that dive you under tower.

  • Arena
    - Decreased setup time from 60s to 55s

  • Assault
    - Increased setup time from 60s to 75s
    - Already Live in OB30 Hotfix:
    -- Melee Minion
    --- Reduced protections scaling from +6 to +2
    -- Ranged Minion
    --- Reduced protections scaling from +4 to +2
    -- Minotaur
    --- Reduced protections scaling from +4 to +2

  • Vs AI
    - Added Ares and Kali bots
    - Improved bots’ aim prediction with some ranged projectiles
    - Fixed Ra Bot being able to place his A03 beyond maximum range
    - Reduced the chance of God Bots using Blink Rune to flee a fight

ITEM BALANCE

  • Changes from PTS:
    - Echo has been decreased from 40%/20% on ultimates to 30%/15% on ultimates.
    - Pathfinding now considers Movement Speed Diminishing returns. This makes it significantly weaker than the first testing.

  • Bug Fixes:
    - Some items were giving adaptive stats in addition to their base ones.
    - Some items were permanently giving stats.
    - Resolute Mantle was providing significantly higher Health Per Second than listed.
    - Echo was multi-proccing off some on-damaged effects. (Hecate A01 Mark)
  • Things we are watching out for:
    -Gem of Focus/Tekko-Kagi
    -- We did some pretty significant shifts to these items, and they were also benefiting from the Pathfinding issues described above. We may nerf these quickly if needed.

    - Active: Create a wall of light that protects allies behind you for 6s. Grants them all your Plating, Dampening, and half of your protections from enemies on the other side of the wall. You are slowed, silenced, disarmed, and cannot turn while channeling the bulwark.

  • Doublet of Binding
    - 2550g
    - Builds from: Veve Charm + Runic Hide + 900g
    - +15 Dampening
    - +400 Health
    - Active: Protective Link - Link to a target, redirecting 20% of damage they take, up to 600 health. This damage is mitigated further by your dampening stat.

  • Wyrmskin Hide
    - 2600g
    - Builds from Battle Axe + Runic Hide + 850g
    - +40 Strength
    - +10 Dampening
    - +250 Health
    - Passive: When you hit a god (once every 8s) you gain 20 dampening against them.

  • Alchemist Coat
    - 2350g
    - Builds from Mana Tome + Runic Hide + 1000g
    - +15 Dampening
    - +400 Mana
    - + 2.5 Mana Per Second
    - Passive: When you use a consumable, gain 10 Dampening for 8s. If you have an open inventory slot, gain a Multipotion once every 60s.

  • Mercury's Talaria
    - 2500g
    - Builds from Survivor’s Sash + Combat Boots + 600g
    - Adaptive: 40 Strength or 70 Intelligence
    - +12 Pathfinding
    - Passive: As you move out of combat, store energy. Your next non-ultimate ability deals up to 20% more damage based on the stored energy. If it was a Movement Ability, deal up to 30% more damage instead.

  • Resolute Mantle
    - 2750g
    - Builds from Veve Charm + Cleric’s Cloak + Xg
    - +550 Health
    - +20 Tenacity
    - Passive - When Hard Crowd Controlled by an ability, gain 25 Health Regen and 10 Tenacity for 4s. - This effect can stack. When these stacks fall off, gain 0.5 Health Regen and 1 Tenacity permanently. These can stack up to 20 times.

  • Shroud Of Vengeance
    - +2500g
    - Builds from Engraved Guard + Cleric’s Cloak + 900g
    - +20 Physical Protection

    - Passive - When Hard Crowd Controlled, trigger a shockwave around yourself dealing 50 (+40% of your Protections, up to 650) Physical Damage.

    - Passive - When you Critically Strike, increase your Ability’s damage by 10% for 5s. When you Echo, increase your Attack’s damage by 10% for 5s. Each can stack 3 times.

  • Omen Drum

    - Builds from Survivor’s Sash + Bowl Drum + 1050g
    - Adaptive: +55 Strength or +90 Intelligence
    - +30% Echo
    - Active - For 5 seconds, all enemy gods and jungle monsters you hit with an ability are marked. After the duration expires 15% of all ability damage you dealt to marked targets is echoed to all marked targets.

  • Tekko-Kagi (Stat Change)
    - Now builds from Skeggox and Hunter’s Bow, cost remains the same.
    - No longer grants Movement Speed: 4% -> 0%
    - Now grants Pathfinding: 0% -> 7%
    - Increased Stack Duration: 6s -> 10s
    - No longer provides Cooldown Reduction: 10% -> 0%
    - Now grants Attack Speed: 25%
    - Decreased Strength: 60 -> 50

  • Gem of Focus (Stat Change)
    - No longer grants Movement Speed: 4% -> 0%
    - Now grants Pathfinding: 0% -> 7%
    - Increased Stack Duration: 6s -> 10s
    - Increased Intelligence: 50 -> 75
    - Increased Cost: 2350 -> 2550

  • The Crusher (Stat Change)
    Now built from Lucerne Hammer and Bowl Drum. Cost remains unchanged.
    No longer grants Cooldown Rate: 15 -> 0
    Now grants Echo: 0% -> 25%

  • The Cosmic Horror (Rework)
    - Now build from Ring of Dispel and Bowl Drum
    - No longer grants Mana: 200 -> 0
    - No longer grants Mana Regen: 3 -> 0
    - Now grants Echo: 0 -> 20%
    - New Passive: While your Echo chance is higher than Cooldown Rate, grain +20% Echo Damage. While your Cooldown Rate is higher than your Echo chance, gain +35 Intelligence. If they are equal, gain both effects.

  • Spectral Armor (Rework)
    - Now builds from Plated Metal + Veve Charm + 600 Gold
    - Cost should be the same 2300 it has been.
    - No longer grants Physical Protection: 30 -> 0
    - Now provides Plating: 0 -> 20
    - New Passive: You take -25% Damage from Critical Strikes. Ability Critical Strikes are mitigated by your Plating.

  • Spectral Visage (Removed)
    - Spectral Armor’s rework has focused it on being a more all-in-one counter to Critical Strikes. Spectral Visage was always a band-aid solution for Magical Critical Strikes; but the combination of Plating and mitigating ability Critical hits should cover all cases.

  • Leviathan's Hide (Stat Change)
    - Removed Physical Protection: 40 -> 0
    - Added Plating: 0 -> 15
    - Increased Health: 250 -> 300

  • Mantle of Discord (Stat Change)
    - Removed Physical Protection: 30 -> 0
    - Removed Magical Protection: 20 -> 0
    - Added Dampening: 0 -> 15
    - Added Tenacity: 0 -> 20
    - Increased Cooldown Rate: 10 -> 15

  • Shogun's Ofuda (Stat Change)
