NEW PORTED GOD

Discordia
  • General
    - Ranged Basic Attacks
    - Damage Type: Magical
    - Scaling Type: Intelligence Scaling
  • Passive: Contest of Gods
    - The God on your team with the highest damage dealth to the enemy gods gains a buff of Strength and Intelligence. Gaining a level or a god kill/assist provides a random temporary buff of Intelligence, Lifesteal or Healing.

  • Ability 1: Unruly Magic
    - Fire out an orb of unruly magic dealing Magical Damage.
    - After reaching the target location, it explodes in a small area dealing Magical Damage before breaking into bouncing minor projectiles that each deal Magical Damage.

  • Ability 2: Strife
    - Create an area that deals Magical Damage
    - Hitting one enemy causes them to be rooted, hitting multiple causes them to attack their nearest ally for Magical Damage.

  • Ability 3: Erratic Behavior
    - Leap and create a field in an area. While within the field you gain Stealth, Movement Speed and your ability cooldowns are decreased.
    - Dealing damage to enemy gods while within the field increases its duration.

  • Ultimate Ability: Golden Apple of Discord
    - Throw the Golden Apple of Discord which deals Magical Damage before exploding in an area dealing Magical Damage and spreading the effects of the apple.
    - Enemies afflicted by the apple effect are crippled and trembled
    - Enemies caught in the explosion take initial damage and a burst of damage at the end of the effect, but do not explode in an area

  • Aspect releasing January 16th
    - Aspect of the Gilded Victor
    -- Contest of Gods only provides you extra Attack Damage from Intelligence. Unruly Magic does not explode but returns back, dealing damage and providing a stack causing your next attacks to explode. Erratic Behavior no longer creates a field of stealth but attack speed and attack damage. Golden Apple of Discord is faster and does not spread.

GAME MODES


Conquest
  • Base Teleporters now bring you to the next teleport location if the current teleport target dies
  • Fire Giant now spawns 1min after the Naga dies, down from 5min (the latest it can now spawn is 19:00, previously 23:00)
  • Totem now grants all teammates of its killer with a global +4 Mana Regeneration and +5% Movement Speed buff for 8s

Joust Quickplay
  • Increased Minion spawn frequency from every 30s to every 22s

ITEM BALANCE

  • Bumba's Golden Dagger (Nerf)
    - “We are seeing Junglers have too strong of an impact in the very early stages of the game; both in the potency of their ganks and how much farm they can accumulate. We will likely revisit overall map farm and pacing as we continue to see how the removal of the side camps have affected the map, but adjusting the Jungle starters lets us more quickly target this aspect of Conquest.

    Additionally, we saw a few junglers overperforming. We want to see how this adjusts them first; with the single exception of Da Ji who will receive additional nerfs.”
    - Decreased Adaptive Strength: 15 -> 10
    - Decreased Area Bonus Damage to Jungle Monsters: 20% -> 15%

  • Bumba's Cudgel (Nerf)
    - Decreased Adaptive Strength: 15 -> 10

  • Adamantine Sickle (Lifesteal Tier 2) (Nerf)
    - Decreased Lifesteal: 5% -> 4%
    - Decreased Bonus Strength: 15 -> 10

  • The Reaper (Nerf)
    - Decreased Strength: 65 -> 55
    - Fixed an issue where this was not triggering off all assists properly.
    - Fixed an issue where the assist could trigger on a death you did not get an assist on in rare cases.

  • Mystical Mail
    - Fixed a description issue where it did not describe its Anti-Shield capabilities.

    - Built from Medal of Disruption and Circle of Protection + 700g
    - Cost: 2300.

After iterating on Strength and Intelligence as a core mechanic in Smite 2, we've found we prefer hybrid scaling that pushes new playstyles rather than simply splitting attack vs. ability damage. While we may revisit Medusa more comprehensively in the future, these Strength adjustments will bring her closer to her tried-and-true identity.”
