We really need to decide on who gets to post the patch notes. There's already a few topics on this now, and I'm not going to go through the trouble of reposting my entire synopsis of the patch in other topics. For those of you really curious as to my thoughts on it, check it out here.
We generally keep the one that:
1. Looks nicer.
2. Has more comments.
- Updated loading screen card and thumbnail for default skin. (When at first you don't succeed, try try again). - Can't wait to see it . Preemptive Strike - Fixed a bug where Athena would complete her dash when CCd during the dash.- That's too bad , I loved this bug Confound . - Fixed a bug where enemies would not auto attack while taunted. - Can't wait to get enemies in my tower/phoenix range and easily kill them .
Mercury looks kinda nice. He`s an assassin or a hunter?
The items are a dream! New Aura for Ares! (Full Aura build ftw)
Gem of Isolation for ADs! Also great!
Chronos and Freya buff items.
The only thing I`m wondering about: Magical and Physical lifesteel on the same item? Kind of weird, nobody gets a benefit from that (except maybe Freya?)
IT seems to me that his a melee hunter. With all that speed his good with chases.

"Hunter" is a term that refers to physical ranged gods ( Artemis, Anhur, etc.)
"Assassin" is a term that refers to physical melee gods ( Kali, Loki, etc.)
"Warrior" is a term that refers to physical gods that have tankiness to them ( Odin, Guan Yu, etc.)
Mercury would fall under the Assassin category, being a strong melee god that's rather lacking in defense.

I'm still waiting for the 'dedicated' magical assassin though.
Am I the only one worried that you basically can't have a tank and support now? If you call Aphrodite a guardian, it means you will have no tank to initiate. If you call her a mage, it means you have no mage burst.
I think Warrior and Assassin should be merged together, and leave support a completely new role. Warriors and Assassins are both basically junglers, but NEED a tank to initiate, which may be taken up by Aphrodite if she's indeed a guardian, or you risk losing all your magic damage via losing a mage to Aphrodite. Again, she's just an example, but I think the point stands clear.
It just worries me how some of these gods are going to be divied up...
By the way, I must make this known: Anyone who does not build Aphrodite with the Rod of Asclepius (who is the Greek god of healing, by the way), is a fool. That item was made for her!
