I know all Roman Gods are the same as Greek Gods, just we all know him for being Greek rather than Roman.
Kind of. I think it is strange that Americans know Heracles by his romanized name Hercules, yet he is still the son of the clearly Greek Zeus to them. It's a jumble of cultures and HiRez seems to have just taken the path less trodden.
Honestly though, HiRez is probably just trying to put out gods for the Roman pantheon since they only have Bacchus as of now. I personally enjoy that they're making Hercules Roman. I don't really have a distinct reason why, it's just different in a way that resonates with me.

For all the people annoyed that he is being labeled as roman this is because Hercules is actually the roman version of Heracles. Western society got them a little mixed up years ago so now we know Hercules as a Greek demi-god even though he was always Roman and the greek version is Heracles. They are essentially the same person in the mythology as Romans took the Greek pantheon and slightly changed it.
