Hello everyone. Im a bit new to the Smite community, well actually this is my first MOBA period, and i have been enjoying this game a lot. More than expected.
Im a very very up close and personal kind of player. Ive been playing fighting games since a kid and Sun Wukong and Osiris naturally caught my attention.
Ive also been getting a lot of different views on them. Some people I ask says Sun Wukong used to be good, but not really much anymore. And Osiris also getting some low praise. I honestly dont mind playing Mid Tier characters at all really.
Im just asking for some opinions from some of the more experienced Smite players.

Im new to this all together so I dont know any of the Pros names, youtube channels, top Tourney winners [if there are any], or popular names on Smite.
Also, is this forum site very active? A lot of guides seem to be from a long time ago and I dont know anything much of whose viable, tier lists, good team composition ideas. Im not at that level to be all creative and what not yet.

Thanks for any help that may be given.

yeah osiris and SWK dropped a bit of the charts still even the lowest tier character can be played and enjoyed (I won't recommend them if you play ranked).

for Pro stuff the othetrs will need to comment (I don't follow it)

The sites activity is a bit mediocre compared to the other moba sites. this is partly because of smite not being as big as the other games. And the fact that Tiermonster also does the same role (only most guides there are standard builds from pros and in explaining part they have less quality then good guides here)

I can't help with builds for them though as I have been out of the game for a bit especcially looking at warriors. It still depends in which role they are played as SWK is normally played as a support.

if you have questions don't be afraid to ask them here. others or me will answer them. this being your first moba you have a lot to learn. I would recommend to read this and [https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/the-complete-beginners-guide-to-smite-updated-3-12-15-updated-for-season-2-4724]this (which has a link to a probably still reasonable good SWK guide at the end)[/url] guide

and enjoy your stay

Did somebody say Osiris and Sun Wukong? I got guides for both of them if you want to have a look. I hope you like them as I have been running these guys for a long while.

Both are still quite viable in the solo lane, although their wide play hasn't been seen in a while. Osiris in my experience has a far more oppressive style of combat, chaining his abilities and always punishing you whenever he goes in while he has his damage reduction and tethers.
Sun Wukong on the other hand has some amazing poke in the form of his The Magic Cudgel, and it also gets a damage bonus when clearing minion waves. His 72 Transformations also gives him some great utility in engaging, chasing, or retreating, which while giving him options is one of the harder parts to learn, alongside timing his ult.
For both of these fine solo laners, I'd recommend Stuke's guides. Both are well written and will help you out with build ideas and more tips on piloting them.
