Hey guys, I'm new to Smite, but not to mobas. I previously played LoL on pc and now Smite on switch. Back in LoL, there are subtypes of champion classes, like for mages there are burst,battle,and artillery. Is there anything like that here in Smite? Thanks guys.

Not official in-game labelled subtypes but you could group certain mages into burst / artillery / healer.

Or Hunters into Ability based or AA based.

Not officially but I like to separe they into "AP" and "AD" while AD is the basic attackers and AP the ability based. I also consider to some tanks the "bruisers".

Yes in smite you can also classify gods beyond the normal archetypes.

all 3 of them are there although battle mages are seen as magical adc cause they are AA reliant

EDIT:
Myst the person is not asking for archetypes, they were asking for subtypes,
e.g.
Scylla is a burst mage
Thoth can be seen as an artillery/poke mage
any mage adc can be seen as a battle mage.
