Hello.

So, I have a story before I start:

I've been annoyed when people called me a noob. In fact, it even happened when I was on my first online game on SMITE, despite doing practice rounds. I get messed on my builds, and usually get attack speed and movement a lot (especially with Merc).

After a few months of this, I decided that enough was enough, and unfortunately have to make the sad decision that I need help, because I don't want to keep coming on like this.

So.. basically need a mentor who will help me out. Feel free to post your tips below, and any other stuff.

See ya

Edit: I posted 2 threads like this at the exact same time >.< My bad.

I always used build made here on smitefire. After a while when I felt confident enough I started building myself.

I recommend reading the discussions here too, since it helped me a lot when I first started.

you will have to get the good guides etc.

also for building yourself going full movement and attack speed isn't a good thing to do. when you build to much of them you will go over the cap. then every other attack speed things are worthless.

building is different on class and sometimes on gods too. So giving some more information on which class you mostly play or which gods.

Go watch Smitegame or Smitegame2 (or other streams by "pro" players).

And just ask them how to build the god.

Or go to tiermonster and look up the common builds http://tiermonster.com/god.

Because the first thing you need to know is what to build :P

When you know what to build, you should try and learn why you build the items. And then you can try and look up guides here and or again you could ask streamers about it :)

That is at least what I feel is the easiest and fastest way to gather the knowledge needed.

Just look around for build guides, but dont only use the builds... Actually read the guides in-depth.
