Excuse me odd, as i only have 2 of the gods that u post guides for, Anubis and ao kuang, I was wondering, why not start with the spear of magus for more survivability and the fact that u gain health hand magic penetration. I personally start with spear at the beginning, providing lots of kills against other mids. Although it seems costly, the money is worth the benefits compared to other items.

Edit: Also, I request guides for the 5 basic gods, for the newbies :)

2nd: I understand that the boots are sometimes more reliant, but for a person like me who gets a lot of shots, I find the extra health to be helpful :)

My question is about strafing. I tend to spend my time watching videos online of other, very experienced/skilled players, including Lassiz, Steve Schwindt (i think i spelled it right) team Juice ect. I notice one really incredible thing that i try to copy but never works the same. They have this ungodly ability to dodge AD Carries (Art, Cupid, ect) basic attacks. When i strafe from left to right switching it up, weather I'm retreating or engaging they all seem to hit me a lot more than my YOUTUBE heroes. Is it i dont strafe enough in the right direction or what? any advice will help. Im trying to become competitive.

Hiya! I'm completely new to mobas and slowly but surely becoming more competent. I play anhur, a lot, and can handle my lane pretty fine, duo or mid, EXCEPT midding against Ao Kuang. His tornadoes always keep me pushed back REALLY far, and do enough damage to keep me constantly running back and forth, dodging, not getting as many creeps as I could. If I play aggressively early game, it's a little too dangerous, with mixed results.

Just wondering if there's any good counter gods or strategies against Ao.

P.S. Watched your video on Anhur, AND read the guides. Use your builds plenty often!

With the new map, there really isn't much jungling to be done. Maybe on the old map with all the buffs you could play a roaming assassin/jungler, but now you really only jump out of lane to grab a buff rq for a laning advantage.

the defense buff + health regen buff was op you could take all the minion damage and stuff it was crazy it was too easy

Biggest question I have seen anywhere (this includes youtube, the lame non-updated Smite wiki, and everywhere else you can find Smite questions) is this: How do you manage to land skill shots? An example of this would be Thor's ult. No matter how hard I try, I can't outguess my opponents and end up wasting a beatiful stun. The Ra and Ao Kuang skill-shot ults also give my guessing skills fits. I can dodge well, but I can't for the life of me land any skill shots. Hence I have a buttload of assists, while my kills/deaths ratio is abysmal.

I would appreciate help.
