Hey. I've been playing Smite for 2 days now and I must say I am enjoying it. I've got the basics down, but I need help figuring out all the terminology and ins and outs of the game. Most folks just call me Nick, and I look forward with interacting with the SmiteFire community in hopes of becoming the best player I can be. I'd love to create my own teams and builds, but should probably play with some others that already know what they are doing. :P

Hopefully you'll be a nice edition to our forums :)
Most guides are pretty good, although I'd look at the date it was last updated and comments first before using it.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
