Fatalis - Pro, or a No Go?

I always pick doom orb in domi when playing a mage XD
so easy to farm and snowball
stick with your team and you'll survive :D

Was just reffering to the fact that I usually go 25+ to 0-2 in Domination anyway.

I don't see the risk meeting the reward in Domination in MOST cases. It's way too easy to make a mistake, especially if you opt for Heartseeker early game when one wrong first hit on an enemy can cause tower agro and kill you.

I could actually see Heartseeker being more useful mid game in Domination if you're very confident with your advantage. As Animus said, it is VERY easy to farm via minions and player kills if you're doing well.

It's still a risk I wouldn't TYPICALLY recommend.

I am not on either side because I say this: Kali and Bakasura can seriously benefit from increased attack speed so getting Fatalis early on for the attack speed boost can really be good at early kills, but later on Fatalis doesn't do ANYTHING if you have other items that increase attack speed i.e. Rage, Qin's Blades, Demonic Grip, Soul Eater, etc., so I sell Fatalis to level up another item that will benefit me more than Fatalis. ^w^

Actually, I play games upstairs, not in a basement (which I do not have anyways).

I wouldn't go as far as saying its garbage its just not going to be my main pick most of the time depending on what god I pick and what is going on in my brain of mine.

The only time I really ever pick it up for the passive that you don't have to turn around to run. It allows you to run backwards with no decrease in speed. Its actually kind of useful because when you turn around you will look defenseless and people will not be afraid to chase you along with the fact you can't see what is going on behind you.

At least with the passive when you are running backwards you can attack if needed, you can see what they are doing and they will be less likely to do more risky things when they know you can see what they are doing.

More damage is most of the time better but there is probably still a place for that item. It all depends on what is going on in your brain, what god you have, what are you facing, how much gold do you have for what items and do you need a cheaper item or not, do you have some kind of idea, what items you already have, ect.

One thing should always be said "there is no wrong way to play a game or style" if you get kills and win then it works. Just because you think its garbage doesn't mean someone who picks it up might not use it to win somehow.
