What the hell has happened?

So, League of Legends has been my game recently, and so I've left smite behind me. However, I am still watching select smite videos and having seen Brandon's S2 tier list I'm horridly confused.

When I left you had Serqet, Janus, Ra, Loki, Vamana, Rama and Sylvanus dominating the meta. Following a few, as I see it, minor nerfs and buffs, the list has been shaken.

Since when was Hercules god tier ban every game? What happened to Chronobae to make him suddenly S tier? Why are people crying for a Xbalanque and Cupid nerf? WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON HERE, I'M CONFUSED.

Well the new map threw everything on its ***. There is no longer a blue buff in the duo lane, meaning hunters with bad clear (COUGH COUGH Xbalanque and Cupid) are suddenly viable. Also, the wave clear of the top hunters ( Rama, Apollo) got nerfed to the ground. This means (as stated previously) Cupid and Xbalanque are good (again?). As for Chronos he does well with support in his lane (He is now a magic ADC), meaning he can be babysat all the way to his monstrous lategame.

AS for Hercules, he has been broken for a while and since the pros used him in the SPL, everyone loves him.

Season 2 is barely out, I think it's too early for ANYONE to play a role to its full potential, let alone make tierlists.

Any tier lists made before a Season Two Tournament should be totally discounted, imo.

Going to take longer to figure out who should properly go where on a tier list at this point.

You can make speculations based on what knowledge we have now, but I feel like any tier list is very subject to change the more people play different roles in different ways.

I agree that it's just too early to take these tier lists too serious.

I honestly think Artemis is really strong in the current meta, definitley not complaining but with the nerfs to most hunter clear she has a very bearable earlygame that leads to a very very potent lategame so long as your not caught out of position
