Ever since I started playing, I always thought the Greek pantheon out-numbered any other. (And with the addition of Thanatos, that statement is much more true)

Anyway, being a mythology fan myself, I had a few ideas for other gods. Such as:

Sekhmet
Apophis
Horus
Fortuna
Surtr
Juno
Janus

But those are just my own opinions.

Who do you think should be added?

Jesus can't be added as he has no real powers, and if he was released he would be overpowered.

He has the power to come back from the dead, he can heal, he can take a beating, he can walk on water. Even then, the trinity is a common view within christian theology meaning that...Jesus is Yahweh so...

I would like to see some more mayan gods, but I don't really know much about them, so it's hard for me to become enthusiastic about it.

That said, I would like to see more Egyptian gods, like Set, Osiris, maybe even Thoth. Oh, and definitely Apep/Apophis. We need more harbingers of the apocalypse!

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
