Sais...

Alright. I just played a game as tank Odin (and I mean FULL tank, like Ymir tank). After I picked up Urchin, I decided to give myself some finishing-off potential in teamfights with Qin's Sais.

I ended up doing more damage than our carry.

Seriously... I was doing 100 extra damage per hit when they were at half health! And don't even get me started on that game where the enemy baka took up Sais AND Hastened Fatalis...

Qin's Sais <=> Qin's Blades

Treshold Health = Max Health - ( Max Health - 500 ) / 1.5

1500 Max Health => same damage at 833.33 Health => Qin's Sais does more damage if target has less than 56% health

2000 Max Health => same damage at 1000 Health => Qin's Sais does more damage if target has less than 50% health

3500 Max Health => same damage at 1500 Health => Qin's Sais does more damage if target has less than 43% health

5000 Max Health => same damage at 2000 Health => Qin's Sais does more damage if target has less than 40% health

Thank you for the math, my precalc class is taking up all my mental capacity for this year.

Looks like a good option if you're one of those guys who go in and clean up, like Sun Wukong...

so basically, sais is for use against squishies and blade is for tanks?

Seems right.

Both passives are better against gods with high max health but the % treshhold that Sais becomes better than Blades is higher on squishies.

Treshhold in % from maxHP where Sais becomes more effective.

Blade does more overall damage in a game - Sais is better in killing people.

But it depends also on your god and the way you play him. If you jump on a target and damage it with another spell this target will drop below this treshhold faster. If I would use Qin's by an assassin - I would take Sais.

I would say Blades on basic attack based gods (Merc, Baka, Ara etc) and Sais on more ability based gods that also use basic attacks (Loki, Fen, Hun etc).

And it also comes down to you playstyle to as you said, if you never gank full hp lanes as a jungler the Sais would be better than Blades and so on.
