The thing that made Thor "op" before was basically how the meta was.
His ganks where super good at the time, now they are just good.
His teleport could get him out of cripple.
And he had really good CC (still got good CC).
Was able to build pretty tanky and still do tons of damage by building penetration (he still does that ofc).
It was just him and Apollo with global presence ( Neith and Xbalanque too, but in a different way), now we got Athena, Thanatos and Mercury as well.
So basically he just doesn't fit into the game as he did before, but he will be back bringing the thunder and the lightning some day ;)
I bet you if they made a match of the day called "THOR" people would think nothing of it, they would just play the game type then go back to their gods they like to play.
BUT
I bet if they made match of the day say "OP THOR" everyone would pick thor even after they play that game mode thinking wow I am playing the OP THOR I'm going to be a nublet and use him now.
Its funny when you label something OP people want to play it more often.
Alls thor needs is another good OP label announced by Hi-Rez to make people go back to the good old op days.
