Exactly what the title says. After facing an Agni for literally every single ranked and random CQ match I had today, I'm flummoxed. What or who works well against him?
You need pretty much need ganks to hold him down. Ao Kuang can farm safely though (just take advantage of that and farm from your side of the lane) and He Bo can out poke him as long as you can get close to him.

This. The counter to Agni in ranked is to pick him before the other team.
I've gotten wrecked by Agni playing Ao Kuang before because he's so slow, though. Slither notwithstanding, he will stomp you into the ground if you get greedy or extend past ~halfway down the lane. You pretty much just have to deal with it, or pick him first, like Phil said.
Best way to counter Agni.. throw a bucket of water on him.
