This has never happened to me before, when I open the smite launcher in the top right it says server status "unknown" the play button stays grey and in the bottom left it says that it's connecting to the Authentication Servers, but doesn't actually connect even if I wait. I've searched everywhere for help, my firewall and my antivirus aren't blocking the game in any way and I've already tried to restart my computer multiple times, I don't know what else to try please help.

The first suggestion would be to wait a bit, restart your computer, etc. Could be a server issue, which would resolve itself given a bit of time.

Sorry, that's probably not much help, but that's the best I can suggest at this point.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
