The only thing I can get out of this thread :
Mimimimi Asmoday is so mean to me q.q I better make a thread about it no one cares about.

What it comes down to is that kid likes Loki so he feels the need to defend him to the death. Loki brings nothing to a team fight, the most important aspect of mid to late game for a win. He is way to squishy and his escape is on an extremely long CD. All of these things have been said time and time again as to why Loki is not a good god yet he refuses to accept that because he likes the god. Allowing his personal opinion on the manner clouds what is truly fact in the issue that loki can not help in a team fight because cleaving and AEs kill him far too quickly, if he builds defense he needs more than normal and now his damage output suffers from that.
He is in the same boat as Art, great god at its core, bad choice for actual play. She has 0 escapes, but her ult that grants immunity to CC. Whoopdy doo, that isnt going to save her when a team focus fires her. but you can take Anhur, who has a jump. Jumps are OP in this game. You can jump over walls and anyone that cant do the same instantly losses out on a kill. Those that can are then hit by a piller that slows as he just casually walks away through the jungle. Loki has a 3 second vanish, and a long CD on ult for his jump. He has a large lack of utility and his natural defense is far to low to allow him to get what needs done. He is only good in the fact of early game mage kills and maybe backdooring if timed correctly, but if your team needs to backdoor then overall it was getting outplayed by the other team and you need to figure out how to fix that as a team. In the end, all I have heard back from him is "Loki does lots of damage" a moot point that means nothing because he cant actually get into a team fight and do that damage. There is a reason Loki sees 0 competitive play and there is a reason all those players have said the same thing I have been saying time and time again about why Loki isnt good. You can either see that and accept it, or continue being blind to those facts that make Loki a non viable god. |

He cannot be played in a manner similar to any other god in the game or else he IS completely worthless. Maybe he does need a tweak to improve his ability to help in late game team fights without being focused and slaughtered. If you want to petition HiRez to implement a jump into Loki's Vanish I won't get in your way. I don't absolutely love Loki, I just love the role of an assassin and what they bring to the table. Just so you know, most glass cannon stealth types are initially hated on in every game because they don't toe-to-toe as well as their beefier counterparts. He was never made to do this. Also, you may speak to me directly instead of in the 2nd person. You are not a lawyer, nor are we in a court room. I read these forums and don't have to get my information from another smitefire member secondhand. |

When you're addressing a message to a specific person you should use a PM (personal message) and not a forum thread. Threads whose sole purpose is to "call someone out" is against the rules and considered bullying / harassment.
