basically, smitefire is being bashed under every smite community site, specifically reddit. we need to do something, or we will eat SmiteJunkies dust.

Smitefire has gotten small over the years, and we need to do something in order to save the site, Smitefire has an amazing community, each one of us only wants his guides and other guides to grow and succeed, and i have met some amazing people here, And we need to bring smitefire back, because if we won't, no one will, and i'm not going to let this site go down without a fight, and i know you won't too.

I know smitefire is better, but we need to fix our problems so the rest of the community could also see that.

Distaster

It's een a very, very long time. I'm not sure if I even need to be here.
I never planned to do this, but I'll be getting more personal. But not too much, I wouldn't like that myself. If you don't want to know, I'd understand completely, just skip to the last paragraph please. Everyone should know that.
Well, the problem is, there are a lot of problems lately. First of all; I have a very weak body. I've talked about pain in my belly before and that I had to go to the hospital because of it to try to figure out what it is. The pain isn't so much anymore, exept for some times when it gets aweful again. But it's still there. But lately I have severe headaches quite often and just as often my legs hurt a lot too. The pain in my legs can be anywhere and it makes it hard to walk. Fun fact; I have to walk a lot for school but also at work. All that pain in my belly, head and/or legs is physically exhausting, but it's also breaking me down mentally and emotionally.

Return-ish. Also modding!

The return! Ish. So I've decided I've been good this week (my sleep has been pretty good. I haven't worked out all that much, but I plan to tomorrow) and can reinstall Smite. I will be limiting myself to a two hour max per day on weekends, and will try to avoid doing so two days in a row so... yeah basically trying to keep it casual for now. If I find myself obsessing over the game I'll just go straight back to uninstalling it, so restraint is a virtue.

On another note, I decided to mod my xbox one controller that I use for pc games to match the rest of my setup. Got some parts on ebay and swapped them out, which was pretty fun, and the end results are great!

So... yeah! That was fun. If people are online this weekend I'll try to catch a game. Just take into account that I haven't played since pre- so I'll be a bit rusty.

Ranked

So I recently got into playing ranked and I went 3-7 on qualifiers and got into silver 5 (For some reason smite likes me.) So now with that I'm taking time to learn as much as I can. I planned in advance to get a rank and then learn as much as I can from casuals and/or streams to make sure I am prepared as well as playing gods I need to Master. (I start off with the main picks/bans and then move on to the more orthodox picks)

I really hope to get as high in the ranks as I can. But for now I can start preparing.

Sorry for the really weird blog post today, just didn't know what to talk about.

Hiatus maybe ending... Soonish?

Hey Smitefireans. So I've put in a lot of thought into my relationship with Smite, and at this point believe that once I get just a few more things back on track (most notably sleep/workout schedule), I'll allow myself to once again perhaps rejoin the community/game.

Of course, I'll be avoiding obsessing over it to the same extent. I think I'll be banning myself from the smite Reddit (spent WAY too much time there) and still limiting my activity on smitefire and other such sites. I also will try to limit extended play times, I may try capping myself at 2-3 consecutive games.

Still, there are a few things I'm interested in pursuing in regards to Smite right now. My guides have been neglected for quite some time, and that's in part because maintaining them is quite frankly a pain in the rear end. Making a release guide is fun, you theory craft good release builds, get hype for the new god, come up with unique strategies, etc. Updating a release guide 5 months later is NOT fun. Strategi…

My Problem With Thor

Now I love playing in Jungle, I always try and get the role no matter what but for some reason there is one assassin I can't seem to wrap my head around no matter what I do. It's and as much as I hate to say it; I don't like playing him or playing against him.

Main reason for not playing him is that his kit in my eyes is way just something I can't work out on how to sort out. I normally do the 4-2-1-3 combo and I can barely drain someone's life. Am I doing it wrong or have I not built right? And the main reason I hate playing against him is that I can be playing in mid and then I get dunked on and get 100 to 0 before I get a chance to escape.

Any tips for playing ? I really need some help

My New Favorite Gods

So I looked up all the voice actors in Smite and I have to say well done on their part on the voices. So when I was researching it I saw two voice that caught my eyes that they voice acted in the game. The two main voice actors from Dragon Ball Z english dub was in here Sean Schmmel and Christopher Sabat. When I saw what gods they voiced in the game I had to play those gods. Christopher voice acts 5 gods in Smite. , , , , and . Sean voice acts 1 god in the game and it's obvious what god he does . So if you se me online expect me to play those 6 six gods a lot.

So after seeing some comments written down on my "Top 9 Hated Gods of Season 2", and saw some people give their own hated gods. I felt that this post will let people know that I'll be making a forum thread to let people express their own rage on their most hated god to either play with or again. Everyone knows what god I hate the most so I won't bother putting down a response and so I can let you all rage away.
