So I'm sure by now everyone has picked up that Smite updates roll out on Tuesdays, that being said is there a place where they let you know ahead of time what Tuesday the update is happening on? I've gotten pretty good at guessing, I just don't want to have to try and start the download before work (for some reason my console is finnicky about auto updating)

I'm assuming the 5.23 update is happening tomorrow, but I'm not sure.

So HR is very bad about actually declaring when the patch will go live. You're right it's always on Tuesdays, but they should state their patch day intentions in the patch notes.

In some rare cases, things might not go live if they run into some major issues, but I don't remember the last time that happened.

Typically, what you can expect is the following rule set:

Patch on Tuesdays
The patch will happen at LEAST 1 week AFTER patch notes are released. This means if they did the show on Friday, it won't happen the following Tuesday because it hasn't been a week. It would then be the Tuesday AFTER that.

That's typically my go-to assumption usually. Just sucks that they can't just say right at the end when they're going to update..

I guess the updates happen around 8 or 9 A.M EST 'cause here in Brazil usually happens at 11 A.M in our local time (BR -3:00)

Probably. I always have to start the download when I get home from work and watch it download :/

Me too. I go to work around 8 A.M and since console and PC unified the day of updates they stopped putting the update right after the server change the daily award (Around 6 A.M here), so after that I always have to go to work, then to my college, return home, start to update and only see/play the game on the other day since the updates are 5 - 10 GB and I have a trash connection of 2Mb

That really sucks, mines about 15ish MB/s so its not crazy bad, but not ideal either.

You download things at 15mb/s and is not ideal? I download things at ridiculous 256kb/s

Man the saddest thing is download a game. It takes 4-5 days and if is like Halo 5 (100Gb) it's like 7-9 days ;-;

It's pretty much the same here, Myst, but that's because I live outside of town so we don't have access to higher speed Internet options like cable and FioS.

Man that sucks, mine used to be around the 2-4 MB/s speed.. Its not ideal really because I'll get on after work, start the update, and a buddy of mine I play with will hop on 30 minutes into my download and finish his 15 minutes before me with his 100 MB/s internet.. Other than that its not that bad.

I'll take almost 6 hours to update this game tomorrow so I will only play on Wednesday with my third world internet connection hahahaha.
