Heros axe gives your teammates a shield ONTOP of your shield ability, so you shield like half there hp or more lol

and instead of you shielding them then getting destroyed you have Pridwen and Bulwark and Book of the Dead to give you a naughty naughty shield, if you get to 40% HP of you ult and proc Pridwen, bulwark, and book of the dead, your entire hp bar will be shielded, so if you're an aggressive geb player like me this build is perfect because you hit really hard and you still are tanky and have giant shields :D go have fun.

Geb turns into a mass of rolling earth, damaging and Slowing enemies he encounters, stopping at the first god he hits. He increases speed as he travels, his damage scaling from 75% to 100% over 3s. Once at his top speed, Geb becomes immune to Crowd Control, and will also Knockback enemy gods.

My main focus for this build is utility, most the time u shield somebody you get demolished I made this build so when you shield somebody else you can still get a nice meaty shield.

Don't go Book of Dead without Book of Thoth (which I wouldn't recommend on Guardians anyway). Don't go Soul Gem in low power builds (which I also don't recommend on Guardians anyway).

The author states it's a massive shield build, but can you confirm if Geb shield, Bulwark of Hope, and Pridwen shields stack?

So DV-8 found out and we confirmed that Pridwen shield, while it's active, does not stack with Geb's shield. That isn't to say that having Prid's shield and Geb's shield at different times aren't functional. Also, Prid's shield is self-only, while Geb's shield usually should be used on someone else, so it would be limited thinking to only consider how shields might stack.

FYI Geb's shield and Bulwark's DO stack.

Hey Blood,

Some feedback as requested:
  • For presentation purposes, I would suggest not putting in the various chalices / potions / elixirs into the builds. It makes it look quite cluttered. Also...you have the exact same build listed twice. I'm assuming this is an error. The 2nd one should be deleted.

  • Whether stated in the title or in a brief writeup, it would be good to identify which role / mode this is to be used in. For example, if this is an arena build, cool. But in Conquest, people typically use him most in Support, and while the Axe starter can see some benefit, you're typically better served by going with one of the standard Support starters for better sustain, gold farm, etc. The rest of the build taken as a whole is also not really good for a Support role.

  • For your build choices, Stone of Binding is fine for an aggressive early function, but if you get to late game, it should be replaced as it's a bridge item that gets outclassed later by full T3 items. You have no indications of any replacement items.

  • I get the concept with massive shields, but while Book of the Dead is currently OP (and seeing a nerf with the next patch), you're getting very little out of it in a build like this. BotD builds its shield strength based on your max mana pool. Take a look at your build. 0 items providing additional mana. BotD really should be built at minimum with Book of Thoth, and is meant for full damage builds. It is not a good choice here.

  • Not sure why Soul Gem is being purchased here. The CDR is helpful, but this isn't a damage build and the bonus damage it provides is going to be heavily mitigated when applied to the enemy, due to your overall lack of penetration. The heal it potentially provides to you and allies is also weakened due to your general lack of decent magical power in the build.

  • Not sure what's going on with skill leveling. It looks like you just sort of chose this at random. Your Shock Wave probably should be maxed first in an aggressive role in something like arena, while Stone Shield should be prioritized in a more Support role. Roll Out should be maxed last.

    Also, Cataclysm can't be leveled until 5...you have the first point at level 4 which is just a straight mistake.
All in all, there are some decent ideas here, but right now I wouldn't recommend this specific build in any role or any mode. Adjustments should be made depending on where and how it's meant to be used.

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods.
