Though nearly complete, Thank's for checking out my build(s) for The Morrigan! The Morrigan is a very fun and versatile character with some awesome abilities. Like I said with my last build, I am not even remotely a pro player, I just see almost univerally positive results with these builds and wanted to share them. I am positive that there are probably better items to use and I STRONGLY encourage you to let me know what can / should be on her to make it even better, I only ask you give these a whirl beforehand. I will be adding a "Why These Items" section when I have the time as well as playing around with the items in case I want to change or add anything. Thanks again! :)
PROS
Ninja Vanish
- Being able to disappear gives you a HUGE leg up on you Mid opponent. Not only does it speed you up but enables you to get the drop on you opponent and catch them off guard or even make a quick getaway.
Mana Forgiveness
- It never feels like The Morrigans abilities cost that much mana and with the right amount of MP5 you wont be finding yourself running low often at all.
Basic Attack
- The Morrigan's basic attack explodes on the third strike for a more powerful small AOE burst that applies tick damage which can also help give a leg up on the enemy as well as making short work of minions. Her dark omen ability also passes through minions and has pretty nice range making it a SOLID minion clearer and fight starter, not to even mention the debuff it puts on enemy gods.
Self Synergy
The Morrigan's 2 applies a debuf to the enemy making them take more damage from abilities. Pair this with her 1 for a huge burst of damage and a stun. Want to have some fun? hit them with a third basic attack, hit with 2, hit with 1, watch the tick damage kill them. The Ol' 3-2-1.
Seeing Double
- The Morrigan's ultimate is unbelievably fun. Being able to turn into ANY player's character can shake up the lane.
CONS
SQUISHY
The Morrigan's health pool (at least w/ this build) is pathetic. roughly about 1900 total HP
Combo Focus
- A lot of the Morrigan's damage focuses on comboing her abilities for the most damage potential. because you need to close the gap for her 1, this can leave you vulnerable. Play it smart and you'll be A-OK

As for the build; The Morrigon's ult is on a really long Cooldown and I feel you'd get huge value out of Spear of Desolation. I don't think Void stone is the play, in my opinion The best way to use Morrigon in a team fight is to just turn into a Warrior like Guan Yu (because they're so tanky and do so much damage) and ult the backline, before retreating back to your own backline and doing Morrigon things, but if you feel like you really need protection then a Mantle of Discord or something similar might be a better option.
