Introduction

I am really scared fighting him. He is very powerful. He is Fenrir.

Fenrir is a new god released in 1 May 2013. He is said to be a physical melee bruiser and assassin, but i thought he is better to be an assassin.

Enjoy my guide of coolness and fear. Here is Fenrir!!!

Guide for bruiser coming soon

Pros and Cons

Pros
+ High single target damage
+ Nice defense
+ Very mobile
+ Cool Ulti
+ Able to sustain with his 1
+ Can chase enemy with leap
+ SUPER FUN TO PLAY

Cons
- Squishy in early game
- Ulti is avoidable with purification beads
- Most skills is really melee (risky)
- Is going to be nerfed

Abilities

Passive : Unbound Runes
Fenrir passive is not so useful in his basic attack but really useful for his skill. There are not really much to say but to attack with basic attack as much as you can before using an ability.

Skill 1 : Unchained
Getting this ability at level 1 will really help you at initiating teamfight and running away. This ability is more for utility, so always safe it for running away if you are ganked. If you are going to initiate teamfight, you should get your passive to full first since it will give the enemy stun. Because it's only utility, max it last

Skill 2 : Seething Howl
At early game, this skill is not useful at all. But keep it ready in case of anything. But, in Mid Game and after that, when you have huge attack, this will really help. It will give your health back to normal. Save it if you are ganked or save it after chasing an enemy.

Skill 3 : Brutalize
The main damage to god for Fenrir. Maximize it first to be able to kill enemy. As you already save your 1 for running away, you can use this always to initiate. If your enemy is half (and not a tank) you can use this to kill them. But, if the enemy is near their tower and they have a leap, don't use it, it will be very dangerous.

Ultimate : Ragnarok
A super ultimate (lol) you will bring your enemy anywhere you want. It is advised to use it against enemy that doesn't have leap have use leap before. Don't be too scared using it, it will increase your defense will make it safer to get your enemy.

COMBO
First, use your Brutalize to get near your enemy, if they use leap, you will follow them. Now, bring back the enemy with your Ragnarok to your tower and then use your 2 for extra damage. If they still run away (although impossible unless a tank) use your 1 to chase them.

Items Part 1 (Assassin)

THIS IS STILL WORK IN PROGRESS

Core

- Warrior Tabi
A must have for every assassin. If not, you will not be able to chase enemy or run away after chasing enemy.

- Devourer's Gloves
As an assassin, your physical power will be really great. With the lifesteal in this item, you will be able to sustain longer and don't need to go back to base as long as you jungling.

- Rage
A speed bonus will help you get your lifesteal faster. Other than that, the crtical chance will be a preparation for your next item.

- Deathbringer
50 physical power and 50% critical damage. What else can give me this. With the addition of rage, you will deal critical damage almost everytime. With the lifesteal and skill 2, you will gain health as you lose health from being damage.

Optional

- Qin's Blade
Having problems with tank? The passive will help you how protective the enemies are

- Voidblade
As you are a full assassin, you will be very squishy. A bit defense might be needed. If your enemy is magical, use Bulwark of Hope instead

- Titan's Bane
Enemy's defense is too high? A penetration will nuke them away.

- Heartseeker
Change for Devourer's gloves if you can escape death. More risky. Due to recent bug, it is removed for a while.

Items Part 2 (Bruiser)

A much safer build that the first one as you will gain much defense in this one.

Core
- Reinforced Boots
A good item for a bruiser the enemy is strong. The extra if you are out of combat will make it easier for you to jungling as you have much sustain.

- Warrior Tabi
Another boots to consider as you will have enough defense in third build after this. Needed this for the attack

- Voidblade
The protection will help you sustain when chasing enemy and the physical power will help your attack. The defense reduction for enemy is also good with your skill 3

- Bulwark of Hope
A considered item because it gives you much magical protection and health. The passive is also great considering you are going to chase enemy

- Devourer's Gloves
To have more sustain, you will need this for lifesteal. The physical power is also great. Buying it more early is also good as you will gain more stacks faster.

- Sovereignity
The aura will help your teammate also. The health will also help you as your defense is more useless.

- Ankh of The Golum
In addition to the protection, you will also gain attack speed. The extra health and physical power will really help also.
- Stone of Gaia

- Deathbringer
OF COURSE COME ON

Optional
- Soul Eater
The health will help you to sustain more and the lifesteal aura will help your teammate as well.

- Qin's Blade
As you are having lower damage than part 1, this will really help you when fighting an enemy tank off.

- The Executioner
The penetration will help you in late game after enemy also buy protection

- Hydra's Lament
For having faster cooldown for your 3 to attack and your 1 to escape. Your ultimate can also used faster

Abilities

DUE TO THE RANKED ABILITIES, I NEED TO TEST IT FIRST

Gameplay W.I.P

As any other assassin, you are the one that can ganked. Use your 3 to start attack enemy because even if they use leap, you still follow them. Also if you want to use ultimate, it is better to late enemy push first so you can bring enemy to your tower. Also, always safe your 1 for running away, never use it for initiating unless your combo point is full and you have teammate.

MORE GAMEPLAY ABOUT LANE COMING SOON

Conclusion

In conclusion, Fenrir is really strong. He has more defensive than any other gods that can do assassin role which make you better. I think he is a little bit OP and need to be nerfed
