Chapter Title

Survival of the Fittest is an arena map game mode, where players will battle 5vs5 with restrictions varying on the different roles.

Rules- 5v5 arena match until one team f6s or loses due to tickets. Each team must consist of one of each role. Warrior, Assassin, Guardian, Hunter and Mage. Every player will start off with 50k gold.

Banned relics: Due to the term survival some relics will be banned to ensure people will die faster. Banned relics are- Sprint, Curse ,Purification, Sanctuary and Blink.

Here is the list of restriction per role;

EVERY GOD( both physical and magical)- NO PENETRATION
EVERY PHYSICAL GOD- NO CRITS
EVERY MAGICAL GOD- NO COOL DOWN REDUCTION
ASSASSINS- NO MOVEMENT SPEED( includes items with passives that grant movement speed, like Bloodforge and Soul Eater)
HUNTERS- NO ATTACK SPEED( includes items that grant attack speed through passives)
WARRIORS- NO MAGICAL OR PHYSICAL DEFENSE( includes items that grant def through passives)
GUARDIANS- CAN ONLY BUY MAGICAL AND PHYSICAL DEFENSE( items that grant magical and physical def but are not in defense list are not allowed)
MAGICAL- CAN NOT BUY ITEMS THAT COST MORE THAN 26k gold

Guardian is the only role allowed to buy Exilir of Defense
Mage is the only role allowed to buy Exilir of Power

Buff camps are banned

I know what you are trying to create, however, the items restriction is so high that I'm wondering if there could be more than 1 build for each role.

The no penetration rule, does it also include protection reduction (, , ) ?

I mean, how can a mage get any boot, if Penetration and CDR are both banned ?
What items can a hunter get if Crit, Attack speed and penetration are banned ?
Can assassin pick at least boots, or they HAVE to be slower than everybody else ?

The items that you listed are indeed banned because they are also penetration items.Mages have other options for movement speed such as Travelers Shoes or Hastened Fatalis. As for assassins alot of them have leaps, self movement speed buffs or teleports so removing movement speed would make them easier to catch in team fights.

Technically, none of these items have penetration, thus the question.
That's why I didn't include because it has both penetration and protection reduction.

Those items do count as forms of penetration, as penetration is damage that defies defense. Shreds,magical/phy defense reduction, flat pen like spear of the magus or percentage pen like obsidan shard those all count towards pen simply because they take away and or defy the enemy defenses. Even void stone and stone cutting sword have penetration.

Alright then, so no penetration or protection reduction.
That would make protections alot better, since it cannot be countered, except via gods Kit (Ex , , etc)

If I understand what you have in mind correctly, you may want to add another rule.
No defensive item allowed, except for Guardians, who can only use Defensive items.

There are plenty of def items that do not have pen. Warriors are the only gods who can not build direct magical or physical def items. I forced def on Guardians because they do alot of damage for tanky characters with the expection of Terra. So instead of just having to fight a Cabroken or a damage Bacchus your faced with a tanky figure that will have to play defensively.

Sorry, I think you missed my point :

Since warriors cannot build any defense, they will be squishy.
But that restriction only applies to Warrior, so a Mage, hunter, but especially an assassin can build tanky and become a second front liner.

If I understand what you had mind correctly, then you may want to add the rule to prevent any class, except Guardians, to pick any defense.
Basically, everybody is squishy except the Guardian.
