Baron Samedi throws his snake forward, wrapping any enemy god hit and dealing damage every .5s for 2.5s and applying a ramp to root.

If a god hit is above 30 Hysteria, the snake will also lash out at nearby enemy gods who stand too close after 1s. Enemies hit by this are injected with venom that applies a ramp to root and deals the full damage over time immediately.

4 Y
Baron Samedi pulls the souls of the living towards his Coffin, becoming immune to Crowd Control and taking 50% reduced damage. Enemy gods within range are caught in a Vortex, dragging them towards the Coffin and take damage every .33s. When an enemy god reaches the coffin their soul is ripped out, causing them to be stunned, take a large amount of damage based on their maximum health and gain max Hysteria. This ability persists for 3.5s or until an enemy god is pulled to the coffin.

If targets being pulled are above 30 Hysteria, the pull strength is increased.

Ability Type: Cone, Vortex, Damage
Damage Per Tick: 17 / 24 / 31 / 38 / 45 (+8% of your Magical Power)

Range: 60
Cost: 70 / 75 / 80 / 85 / 90
Cooldown: 90s

Notes

You don't have to buy all these items in the same order. If you have a lifesteal heavy team and your support hasn't or for some reason won't buy pestilence then getting divine ruin earlier may be the smart play. Trading off Rod for a defense item may also be the play.

Effective Playstyles

Baron has a pretty solid kit under his belt if you know how to use all his abilities properly. Hitting enemies with your 3-2-1 combo is your best way of dealing the most damage. Wrap them up(3), lifesteal them with your AOE(2), then laser them down(1). Pretty simple combo but you gotta hit your wrap. Your AOE(2) also the ability to heal allies nearby. Use this to your advantage if you have an ally under attack who is retreating towards you. Hit em with that nasty slapper to give your buddy some much needed health. ( They will thank you, trust me). Your Ult is where the real fun begins. You can use your ULT to start fights for your team or to clean up fights. The beauty of your SUCCY SUCC is that you do great damage in a wide area and then when an enemy is succcd all the way to your coffin they are stunned. Try to deal as much damage as possible to as many enemies as possible before "succ"ing the squishies all the way to your coffin. Also in case you didnt know his ULT goes through walls so if someone is trying to make an escape around a corner you can stop them. Make sure your keeping track of who has beads and who has burned beads. Waisting your ULT can be very frustrating!! Now get out there and Succ some dudes!

You should honestly be building Baron hybrid in Joust. Also I don't understand how Divine Ruin/Obs Shard are "last items".

I agree. I'd get divine 3rd or 4th, shard 4th or 5th. Rod and Soul Reaver are good last items, but the two you mentioned, Kriega, should be bought earlier.

I would start with Mage's Blessing, Tiny Trinket, and Baron's Brew. That will leave you with 200 gold to buy additional potions or save towards finishing off Bancroft's Talon.

Since Baron doesn't have any real mobility, building him with protection and health items like Kriega pointed out is a good idea unless your tank is really, really good at protecting you or the enemy team is full of idiots who don't target you.

There's a point missing on his skill leveling order on his ultimate Life of the Party

I recommend you list at least one full build, instead of listing individual items.
