The biggest issue with this build is that Xian Tian is a melee guardian and not a ranged mage; this means, as Boogie pointed out, that he needs a mix of health and protections for him to be effective. Your build has neither; and while some items can work on him, they're not really suggested. For example, instead of hoping you hit the enemy team with all of the ticks of your ult to process magus, get and instead; leave spear to the mages that can make better use of it like .

Yes, your right. This build is meant for fun, I am not claiming it is a good build.

Not even that. You have to consider that newer players will come across this and try to build it, only to be confused at how quickly they're being killed.

Also, have you noticed all the builds posted by this author are trollish, with no explanation on how to properly use the troll items? For example, he could just say, " is a fun option on because can apply all 5 stacks of the item. If you manage to hook multiple enemies, you'll debuff all of them and set an ally mage up for a potential deicide. Etc, etc."

Excluding the Kali build, hopefully author will take Kriega's advice.

At least they had the courtesy to put "fun" in the title of the build so it can be regarded as a "meme" / troll build.

Who is Kriega? I also am making a build for fun, I meme with my friends a bit. I have been playing smite for a while now and I do play normal/how you are actually supposed to play. Don't mind the other builds, if it bothers you I can make a real one. But all the points you raised were valid, thank you for your input. Your saying I should explain why I build what I do, and how to play him play him like this?

In all honesty, due to the poor minimum build standards/requirements, pretty much any build can be uploaded on this site except the ones that are impossible (items or skill order), or the ones that lack any main penetration source on non-assassin damage dealers, specifically hunters and most mages.

So while you are allowed to upload builds like these, all it does is add to the bad reputation of this site. Good builds or guides are pretty hard to find, you have to go out of your way to check top rated builds/guides, while if one simply navigates any given god's list of builds/guides page they are likely to find a myriad of poor quality builds.

It's why alternative build sources like Smiteprobuilds.com, Smiteguru and Smitesource.com are pretty useful.

Smiteprobuilds : Shows Smite pro player builds for Smite Pro League and Ranked play, but doesen't really include item decision justification, and one may have to see the match themselves that occured to see the full reasoning behind itemisation choices.

Smiteguru: Has a option on each god page to see some recent-ish top ranked player builds.

Smitesource: Shows decent cookie-cutter builds for each god in at least one role (some have two listed), mentions what to sell boots for after getting Elixir of Speed, and what to replace to buy anti-heal. It doesen't have builds that will be the most optimal in every match, but ones that should be consistently decent.

I can't recommend this build. It will get you instantly killed. You need to provide a write up on how to play this since newer players reading may get confused. They'll keep dying wondering why their team mates are raging at them, only to realise they should have built as a front line tank.
