Shards of Ice

Ymir begins to freeze the air around him, causing shards of ice to grow on his back and Slowing enemies. After a 3s channel, Ymir erupts out of his frozen state, causing shards of ice to do damage to all enemies in his range. Applies Frostbite. Cancelling the ability decreases the damage.

Chapter Title

What is the true meaning of a tank? Eat damage, heal then go eat more damage. This is the build I use in all game types. For this build to work at 100% you need to guard support and defend your ADC. Your main goal is assists and healing. All builds should get meditation first I don't care who you are the more meditations on the team the harder you are to kill. With this build you are not really supposed to get killed, at the end of game you want the most assists, damage taken, damage mitigation, and healing. That is what you need to be a perfect tank. I know I'm missing a second relic and that's because I cant find it on here, but your second relic must be curse, with this it will be easier for your team to get kills. By the time this build is complete you will have 4040 Heath and hps of 76. Now because of this build your health will be ever increasing, your health can get up to +5k. That much health in a 3v3 joust, and you can have a mid to late game walk. In the end your looking at

40% cool down
1390 MANA
28 MPs
And I will update at patches and updates come so as to adjust for nerfs and boosts, and as far as the season 4 update goes, this build is actually getting stronger. Hope you enjoy this build.

Isn't this overcaping on hp5 as well? And no boots, plz don't use this build.

Some of the items are good though: Gaia, thebes and BoV.
I also like mail of reneval, but it is not very good right now.

I tried this build out last night and yes, you are tanky as hell. I actually had fun!
Eventually my opponents just stopped attacking me and using their speed to avoid me. Which brings up the weakness of this build. Speed. Smart players will just kite you and you'll have trouble hitting anyone with your frost breath. In my opinion, if you can find a way to add some movement speed into this build, it would be pretty OP.

After this Nerf to the CD I'm not so sure it'll be enough in some cases. Might see some added value to getting winged blade or Relic dagger. At least with Relic dagger it'll help with the blink Nerf.

This build order is whack though. Keep in mind this guide is not updated for season 5.
