Camazotz screeches loudly and launches a sound wave that pierces through minions and deals damage.

If the screech hits an enemy god, the sound wave will echo. If Camazotz is hit by an echo, his team gains vision of the god that was hit by screech for the next 15s and gains bonus Physical Power for the duration.

Camazotz commands a swarm of bats to fly out and attack a single target, damaging and slowing them by 40%, lowering their healing received for 3s and then carrying back a heal.

If the target was a Buff Holder, Oracle, or Alpha Harpy, they will be marked and Camazotz will receive a heal as well as a stackable Vampirism buff that lasts 300s. Marked monsters will not provide Camazotz with another stack of Vampirism or an additional heal.

Camazotz flies into the air for the next 4s. While flying, he may swoop forward to deal damage. He may do this up to 3 times, landing on the 3rd time. Hitting more than one enemy god in a single swoop will deal increased damage per god.

Intro



Hello! New here to Smitefire, but I'm active on Smite and Susano is my #1 god with Nemesis & Kukulkan following after. The tips I have to share are strictly to compliment positioning and build (protections, power and utility), mainly because Camazotz has high scaling and low mobility. Due to no mobility, protections keeps him in a fight and utility fills in where Camazotz mobility fails, which can also help to escape or chase as needed. If adding protections causes elaboration, remember his Screech has a built in passive to increase scaling at 40 power once the echo is caught, which is equivalent to . This is one reason you can sacrifice one of your six item slots for a protection item to keep Camazotz engaged in a fight longer than an agile assassin.

Camazotz is a high sustained ability focused assassin that's capable of solo and jungle positions; though build may vary for each, he's very good at finishing what he initiated due to his range and Bat Out of Hell ultimate. His team fight is very low due to no AoE damage nor does he have any CC abilities besides his slow that focuses a single target. If he happens to land his Screech, catches the echo and then lands his Vampire Bats afterwards; prepare to take HIGH SCALING damage due to his Screech passive.

The negatives is he lacks boxing potential due to being reliant on his skills to heighten his edge in combat. His 1v1 varies on the users skill to make best of his linear abilities on the specified target. If you attempt to engage with minions around the target remember that Vampire Bats can't penetrate minions which is important to focus the target. To be effective you need to land Screech and Vampire Bats to have the advantage on the target. If either are missed consider disengaging from an enemy seeing that 70% to 130%, which totals 200% missed scaling when committing to the fight.

Essence Drinker
An extremely helpful passive that aids early into late game and activates when any god, enemy or ally, dies on the battlefield. This is one of the main reason Camazotz has the best sustain out of all assassins in the game currently. Who needs potions when their everywhere on the map in a pool of essence?

Screech
A long ranged liner ability that pierce through minions and rebounds off the first enemy god hit. Once the echo rebound it's always beneficial to catch the echo for a temporary power scaling. Generally it's good to use this as an initiation when entering combat for the power scaling.

Vampire Bats
A medium ranged liner ability that stops on first target hit. Though the range is shorter than Screech the scaling is nearly double in addition to slowing the enemy and healing yourself. If jungle buffs are hit with this ability they provide lifesteal and increased healing for (210s) 3 minutes and 30 seconds. The passive refreshes after each camp is siphoned which stacks the buff from 3%,6% into 9%. Generally you want to follow up with this ability after Screech for a huge power hit on the target.

Devour
This ability varies on the situation, but is helpful when you can determine the wall exploits. Devour helps in the heat of combat to heal off of nearby camps or minions. Devour also heals on the enemy targeted, but the heal is less since Devour's heal increases per each enemy hit. Even though the leap is short it can aid in creating space when trying to escape, use it wisely.

Bat Out of Hell
If Camazotz is runnning towards you in the objective, RUN! Once this ability is active you are CC immune and aren't able to be targeted by towers or enemies. When using this ability you want to make sure to see the target within parallel targeting system Similar to Athena, Nu Wa, Thor, etc; there's a delay when casting this ability.

[*] This portion of the guide is to layout combinations that compliment certain situations. Be mindful that your transition in build impacts the effectiveness of the following

Skills - 1:Screech, 2:Vampire Bats, 3:Devour, 4:Bat Out of Hell

Combo A: 1:Screech> 2:Vampire Bats> 3:Devour> 4:Bat Out of Hell.
[*] 1:Screech has 70 range with a power scaling once echo rebounds. 2:Vampire Bats has 55 range with an increased power scaling, slow, and a self heal. 3:Devour has 30 range with a slightly higher scaling than 1:Screech in addition to another self heal. The range reduces mainly because 4:Bat Out of Hell provides the remaining range to finish and to escape.

Combo B: 3:Devour> 1:Screech> 2:Vampire Bats> 4:Bat Out of Hell
[*] Risky maneuver, but can be rewarding. Besides when haven't a Smite player made a risky play?
