Chains extend from Ares' shield, doing damage to all enemies in its path. Hitting a god shackles them to Ares, Cripples them, preventing movement abilities, dealing the same damage every second while slowing them by 15% and buffing Ares. While shackled, Ares can fire another chain for free within 2s. Jungle Camps take an extra +40% damage.

Introduction

Ares is a team player hes not made to get kills 24/7 like the jungle does but late game he can be a huge help.

This is my build for Ares And i use it all the time.

The Aura Item give me a 30+ Magical Damage Because Of His Passive Moves

I use this build all the time and i win

If you cant grab them or rotate as a support don't be like this build sucks its just that you suck.

You need to think when you play as ares your weak for damage early game but you can eat up damage so don't be scared and end up not pushing with teammates your made to get assist and give your teammates kills. Once you get to late game you will get a lot of kills.

just a suggestion, might be good to explain why you have your build the way it is.

I would tend to add Rod of Tahuti and prolly drop mystical mail or stone of gaia. Rod would give you almost double magic power

The build is so right but the explanation is so wrong lol.

Admittedly though Ares can grab a lot of kills late game. His continuous damage output will often deal the finishing blow on a lot of enemies in teamfights ._.

I have to agree with FemFatalis. Ares is a god that should be taken advantage of in the EARLY GAME because of his linking cripple that deals a massive amount of damage. In the lategame he's really only got No Escape going for him in teamfights even though he maintains his solo boxing potential. He has no hard cc other than his ult and like FemFatalis said, unless the other team is stupid, he's really only going to be knocking off Purification Beads or magi's blessing. Still it's a nice build

Um. Ares is far from a late game character. His strength actually lies in his early game damage. Shackles is a nearly inescapable source of enormous damage on the enemy hunter, and his ult allows for enormous damage as well. His late game is actually pretty bad if he's not fed - Shackles and Searing Flesh are nearly useless, Bolster Defenses is sub-par to say the least, and No Escape becomes little more than a beads tax. Don't get me wrong, I like the build, but you're strongly mistaken about Ares's strengths and weaknesses.

This is my build for Ares And i use it all the time.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
