About the God
Pros
- Strong sustainability
- Very strong heal
- Very Strong push
- Able to be anything the team needs (Mage, support or even tank)
Cons
- Very squishy
- Mana hungry
About the build
Pros
- Good mana regeneration at the start
- Very good mobility
- Cool-down reduction is capped (35%)
Cons
- Very slow at the beginning of the game
- Quite expensive build
I dont know when we are able to upgrade the ultimate (other then in level 5), but you get the basic idea right?
- The Repulse / Inspire
It should be the thing you upgrade first because, it gives you the best push and heal.
- Decay / Restoration
I upgrade this second just for extra heal with restoration and extra nuke with decay
- Switch Stances
I upgrade this third because of the extra magic buff and the extra mp5 giving you extra sustainability
- Hinder / Cleanse
I upgrade this ability last, because I personally dont use it too much. I take a point on it before level 5 and I upgrade it last
Item Builds
Chronos' Pendant - I buy rank two of this item to begin the round because it gives you a hefty 15mp5 and a nice 30 magic power. The Mana regeneration allows you spam your abilities at he beginning of the game so your able to farm farm farm and heal heal heal.
Boots of Celerity - I but this item next to the Crhonos' Pendant because it gives us a extremely good mobility and cooldown is capped at max
Book of Thoth - Stackable item that only goes up to 50 (easier to stack then warlocks sash) and it gives you a big mana pool, magical power and even more mp5
Obsidian Shard - gives us 70 magical power and 33 percent magical penetration. It helps you kill tanks and other gods alot easier.
Bancroft's talon - I find this item to be very good with Hel, just because of its passive. per 1 percent of health lost, you gain 1 additional magical power, so when your lower on health, your heal will be more effective.
Rod of Tahuti - A no brainer for a mage. Gives you big magical power and alot of mp5.
Hel is one of the strongest mid-lane god in this game just because she has a great sustainability with her heal and she can dish out alot of damage at the start.
Some of the things I do at the start of the game is...
Level 1 to 5 - Just because you have your switch stances at the beginning, you are able to heal your minions and also damage the enemies minions. Make sure you play it safer just because you dont have any escape abilities. Make sure your well positioned and not too far ahead just in-case of enemy ganks. PS dont try ganking, because you dont have good speed. Its better to just stay in lane
Level 6 to 10 - stay in the lane to farm. The more you farm, the scarier you get. if you happen to get a kill, CONGRATS :D. assuming you have boots of celerity, go gank some lanes after you cleared the lane.
If you dont have the boots, maybe you should push up the lane and go back to buy stuff OR stay in lane to take down the tower.
Level 11 to 15 - Make sure you start to group up and be very careful for Ganks
Level 16 to 20 - By this time people dont stay in lane for that long; go into team fights and stay with your team mates because by this time, other gods can be scary
Mid Lane Enemies
Loki - Loki is EXTREMELY strong 1v1. I havent played against a loki in the mid lane too much but if a loki is mid lane, chances are he is very confident and a relatively a good player. A typical loki would stay extremely passive til level 5 and when he hits level 5 he will try to get a kill as soon as possible.
I suggest staying passive when your against a Loki just because if you push him far up, he ll still use his ultimate to kill you instantly; so just stay back to farm.
Level 1 to 5
- Beginning
A part of a teamwork starts at the beginning of the match. If your team mates want to take a medium buff or any buff before the minions spawn, go help them. Assuming you put your first point on your 3 (Like I told you to do) you can hit all three of the camp minions and heal your team mates if he took any damage
- Team fights
Hel is no initiator because if she gets caught, she usually cannot get out. So make sure you stay in the back healing your team just because you WILL be focused.
Hels is what I call a bruiser just because she can dish out ALOT of damamge but shes usually never the one getting the final kill because she doesnt have a jump or sprint abilities. So dont chase too much cause your probably not going to catch him. STICK WITH YOUR TEAM!!! AND IF YOU WANT TO CATCH THEM, GET SPRINT!!!

The sustain is REDICULOUS with the light stance and that extra damage goes a longer way than many people think!
As the others said, add some images and stuff and it' a well rounded guide.
Also order the abilities P 1 2 3 4 instead of how they are now, helps people know which is which:D
