Amaterasu harnesses the power of her jewel, gaining Attack Speed and healing herself every second for 4s. She also creates a persistent aura that buffs nearby allied gods. Every time this ability is activated the aura switches between Valor and Benevolence.

Heavenly Reflection

Amaterasu charges her mirror for 5s. While the mirror is charging she takes decreased damage. By activating the ability again or at the end of the 5s she will fire her mirror straight ahead, dealing damage. The mirror can be charged by successfully attacking enemies or from taking damage, and will deal up to double the base damage when fully charged.

Dazzling Offensive

Amaterasu focuses the power of the heavens into an impressive 3 strike combination attack. The 2nd hit will do 20% more base damage and slow enemies. The 3rd hit will do 40% more base damage and stun enemies. She must hit an enemy with the 1st hit to receive the increased damage and CC on the 2nd hit. The same rule applies to the 2nd and 3rd hits.

Introduction

I created this build as I wanted to share my thoughts on gods like these for a support build.
After playing around for a bit with Amatarasu carry, I decided to play her support, but I had to tweak a few items.
A big thanks to stpv_slender for the main idea of this tank build. I have tried it out multiple times and have yet to lose lane with help of a good carry.

Items

Starter

is my default support starting item in season 8. Another possible candidate is upgrading it into a . I chose over because it gives more survivability rather than damage output. This is mainly a damaging tank build, and this item is essential. Try to upgrade into as soon as you can (minimum level 17)
Item 1

is a base item for . She needs the +25% Attack Speed you get from it and the bit of Phyisical Power and Mana you get is just a bonus.
Item 2

is a base item for support. It gives a decent amount of HP and Attack Speed. It helps with building a default and helps her tank a lot more.
Other Items

All other items are very situational. Do you build more damage output or do you build more Phyisical Defense? It all depends on your lane and the rest of the enemy team. What does Physical Protection do against an entire Magical team? Nothing. So be smart in your decisions. It might be easiest to build and as they are both general items for HP and a little bit of both Protections.

Summary

Amaterasu is a very damaging support with good engage and escapability.
Any ideas or suggestions are welcome.
This is my first guide and I couldn't really care less to make it all pretty, but if you people enjoy the guide I might spend a bit more time tidying up this guide and making it a bit more in-depth.
