Hey folks, dacoqrs here, for my first theorycrafting guide.

Today we are gonna compare Moonlit Waltz vs. Undying Love.

Let's get to it.

What both abilities do

-Provide damage immunity
-provide cc immunity

Cooldown

Moonlit Waltz: 12 at max level with no CDR
Undying Love: 70 at max level with no CDR

Duration

Moonlit Waltz: 1 second at max level
Undying Love: 2 seconds at max level

Mana cost

Moonlit Waltz: 60 mana plus regens mana based on ticks avoided
Undying Love: 100 mana

Player count

Moonlit Waltz: 1
Undying Love: Up to 2

Evaluation:

By the numbers, it appears dead on. Each ability 'won' in 2 of the 4 categories.

How does this help us?

We can evaluate that Moonlit Waltz won in Mana cost and Cooldown. Therefore, it is very good at keeping her alive and not use too much mana.

Counterargument

One could argue that the lower cooldown on Moonlit Waltz means that it will be used more, and cost more mana per match than Undying Love

We can evaluate that Undying Love won in Player Count and Duration. Therefore, it can keep herself and a teammate alive for a long time.

Counterargument

One could argue that the higher cooldown on Undying Love means it will be used much less, and therefore Moonlit Waltz, because of the short cooldown, will save more players (Even if it is only her) per match than Undying Love.

My opinion:

Support aphro for the win.

Thoughts? Feelings?

(Sorry for typos, I was in a rush to make this)
Thanks to Ferrum for making the sig pic! He's beast af people.

ahprodite needs a buff/change.
We are currently working on it here:

I think that the cooldown should be reduced to flat 60 seconds (Subzero's idea).

I said 50 seconds on Aphrodite's cooldown.

Also, thinking about it. Moonlit Waltz reminds me a lot of Nemesis' Retribution. However it's on a support. Can we get rid of Retribution? I'd like that. But that's off topic. I don't have a problem with Moonlit Waltz. I do think Undying Love needs that buff. Can we have it naow please?

Yea M4X, it's been like that for a long time. Both Moonlit Waltz and Waxing Moon have wrong icons.
