Pictures aren't displayed at all

Is this a common problem with the forum software?
Pictures in this forum (everything in the (IMG) Picture URL (/IMG) format.)


I'm using Windows 7, Firefox (not exactly sure wich version.)

I already tried turning off all my plugins, most importantly Adblock and NoScript, it still doesn't change a thing. I can not see images, and text is not displayed instead of them. I have to actually quote the person, copy the image URL and paste it into my URL-Space see the picture directly, and I can do that. So I know it's none of the pages hosting the images, it's smitefire.

Windows 8, Firefox nuff said....

Which version of Firefox? Could you take some screenshots? Does it happen everywhere or specifically in forums / blogs / guides etc.

I'm guessing it's an outdated browser or Windows 8, but we will still try to fix the problem so future users will not encounter it.

Screenshots... yes I can provide them, although they may look extremely boring. Its just the post, with the picture missing. I'll provide a post with a picture and the quoted post, so you can see the original text with the ('IMG) .jpg (/IMG) html thing in it.

It only happens on this Smitefire forum, I don't know about other "Fire" forums. :P
I've never encountered this before, and I'm unsure of what to do.

Well I downloaded that version of firefox and I can see the images in this thread.

I will ask the programmers to take a look, but if you can think of anything else that might be an issue please let us know!

For sure! All I can think of at the moment is clearing your cache.

Can you see images in guides? For example the zeus picture at the bottom of the pros / cons section in this guide? https://www.smitefire.com/smite/guide/zeus-extended-guide-1265

Edit: Cleared my cache, nothing changed.

Talked to Matt a bit, here are his suggestions:

A. Try a different web browser like Chrome or Internet Explorer. If you can see the images on those but not Firefox then your Firefox plugins are causing the problem.

B. Completely remove adblock. If adblock accidently flagged one of our image servers then it could still be blocking the images.

C. If A and B don't work flip a table because this bug makes no sense!
