Korra Season 4 October 3rd

So, the phone scene was hilarious but it literally felt like I was watching an abridgement, lol. They did well for what they had to do even if it was a disappointing episode. But now we're on the final stretch!

Yeah, that part was great, but the rest was honestly boring. I mean, I get it. They had to do this due to financial cuts, so I can't fault them for it. However, I've always severely disliked episodes like this, and the reasoning behind doing such an episode doesn't make it any better to watch.

While, yes, Tales of Ba Sing Se was a filler episode, it at least gave us new material for pretty much the entire episode. Some segments weren't too great, but most of them were very well done, especially the Iroh segment. This one was just filler and flashbacks with a bit of newer material only present to tell the flashbacks.

It wasn't horrible, and again, I understand why it had to be this way, so I don't blame them for this, and they pretty much did the best they could given the situation, but I still dislike episodes solely dedicated to retelling what we already know.

All that being said, the phone scene was amazing.

The Iroh one made me tear up

It looks like Kuvira's shenanigans in the Swamp are making all Vine-spirit-things angry, even all the way in Republic City! Can't wait to get back to the actual plot!

Also, All4, if Korra does end up in a relationship again, I would not be surprised if it is Korrasami, haha.

This episode was extremely 'meh'.
It kinda felt like a pre-episode leading up to something awesome (secret rescue mision in Zhao Fu, whatever you spell it like).
