HiRez Stew announced that the siege game-mode will become 4v4 in the May 28th patch. This was announced the day after a 4v4 tournament where dmbrandon's team, Juice, won the tournament. DM did stream some 4v4 siege yesterday which you can find here.

What do you think about siege being changed to 4v4? Do you think it will be good for the competitiveness of the mode? What do you think the meta will end up being?

It fits siege better, it was kinda awkward playing 5v5 since most of the time people would be 2v3... This makes it more balanced I guess.

I never even played the 5 vs 5 siege so I will see how it plays out then after the patch.

Bruh, there's no definite meta for siege right now.

Yeah but when it first came out I heard many people on the stream saying that the game mode was made for there to be no jungler and they would tweak the game mode to make sure that no one jungled. I want to say DM and/or Bart was talking about it.

I prefer to call that fith wheel a "Roamer" in Seige. He just goes from lane to lane attempting ganks and kills buff camps when spawns. Since he doesn't spend his time fully in jungle you can't really define them as a jungler ;).

That being said I'd actually prefer 4v4 in Seige. Seems to make more sense...
