Yet another god selection help.

Hi all,

I'm brand new to the game and I have almost enough valor for a god. As i could only test the free gods, I came here to seek advice.

I'm a veteran LoL player (~2500 Games, all types) and although I know it's not the same Game, I was wondering if there were similar chars.

My all time favorite is Teemo. The traps, the harass, the "sneakiness", the versatility (AP, AD, AS, ...) because I like to change gameplay even if it's the same char.

There's also Nunu, Lee Sin, Cho'gath, Olaf, Maokai, Ahri, and Lux.

My favorite role depends on my mood but mostly Jungle (I understand there's not much jungling in smite), then support (same?), then top/mid/ad carry.

After reading this, is there any god that pops in your mind?

Teemo: Arachne probably, she can lay spider eggs instead of Teemo's mushroms
Nunu: Hades - similar ult
Lee Sin: Wukong - very mobile
Cho'gath: Hebo without the tankness
Olaf: maybe Odin
Maokai: Hercules
Ahri: nobody is like her, maybe Thor with the boomerang ability
Lux: Ra

These are probably the closest in relation to those LoL Champs

nunu - hades
lux - ra

shaco - loki
vayne - anhur

if i come up with one i'll tell you, hard to find them lol

Maokai is almost identical to Hercules

i don't see how maokai is identical to hercules

Maokai has:
Arcane Smash
Twisted Advance
Sapling Toss

Hercules has:
Earthbreaker
Driving Strike
Excavate


The last skills aren't identical, but all these work in similar ways. Plus they are both tanks.

I just bought Guan Yu, I like him, he has mobility, damage, utility, heal.

But my question is still relevant for my next unlock :)

Good luck with Guan Yu! I haven't played him that much yet. Haven't really figured him out on how to play him lol

He is good. Nice job unlocking him. He rarely has to go back during laning and escape from ganks easily.

Thanks everyone. I'm enjoying the game thus far, but not enough to spend money and buy the ultimate god pack. So I'll have to unlock them one at a time.
