simple question, found no answer anywhere. Do you gain aura buffs from your own items?

ie. Item = 10 physical power. completed has an aura = 10 physical power to all allies in xx feet

Do I get 20 phys power for having this?

items like soul eater's passive do effect the god who is wearing it.

you can always check by using the buff icons on the left hand corner above the healt bar.

Most of them affect you. Items like Soul Eater and Pythagorem's Piece affect both you and your allies. I believe that items such as Bracer of Replenishment and Sovereignty only affect the person who has it. Void Stone, Witch Stone and Mystical Mark only affect enemy Gods.

That should be all of them (I think there's only 7 Aura items). Hope this helps.

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
