Loving this game, after only discovering it about a week ago, it is definitely my new favorite.

Hello, I used to be a pretty active LoL player for years, but kinda got bored with it. I'm pretty interested in Smite because it seems quite different from standard MOBA fare. I do not have a key at the moment, unfortunately, so I've been looking into the various giveaways. I may just drop the $30 or so on it, though, but not right now.

For now I am just watching videos and trying to get acquainted with the game, figured I could as well join a community, and this seems like a nice website. :)

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat. And, instead of clicking a map, you use WASD to move, dodge, and fight your way through the detailed graphics of SMITE's battlegrounds.
