polynomicon (especially on ymir)

what do you guys think of polynomicon on ymir, gives good power for damage, and lifesteal from glacial strike, also since ymir usually opens with stun then glacial strike and then auto attacks, it will help if your first auto attack does alot of damage, tell me what you think

I my opinion is NO just NO!. (Start of rant)
First off you have to ask yourself polynomicon on ymir at what cost friend at what cost? You should not be trying to kill people with ymir apart from really low ones or people who were bad enough to eat your ultimate but I can see where you are coming from with this but even if you get poly you will be doing what 70 more damage which is not really a lot (I know that your skills will do a bit more extra but ymir doesn't scale well with magic power) and also you will be sacrificing an item slot for it as well as 2500 both of which could be used to either make you tankier (gauntlet of thebes) or helping your allies with voidblade/voidstone ect so the benefit it gives you pales in comparison to other items. The only time I see that this item might be worth it if you have a very magic heavy team and you already went for voidstone and pythagorem's piece and even then it's still iffy....(End of rant)

I can see what you are trying here and its like my actual Hades build, not the guide I have posted. I like to be tanky but do some pretty decent damage with my tanks. On Ymir you are hopeing you can land that basic attack and I just dont think it works for him. The way he plays holds it back I think.

Polynomicon effect adds after the double dmg from frostbite if I'm not mistaken. So Poly dmg isn't doubled. I much prefer soul reaver or gem of iso. Since the poly nerf, it's not that viable.
