Your words betray your inexperience. If beads was removed, gods like Ares will becomes completely uncounterable.

I wouldn't say he's useless. Beads definitely make his ult useless when they can actually use them, but Ares can still be useful.

The whole point of an ares ult is to put beads and aegis on CD
so his ult isn't useless.
if he ults properly you can wait 10 secs and swing a whole teamfight in your favour due to the lack of actives

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
