We Need More Ranged!

You guy's are great. Now i'm hopeing that i can do a disscusion everyday about the most annoying and most interesting topics about smite. So back to the range gods. I just dont like the idea how they put 5 melee gods in a row. At the max maybe 3 in a row. But maybe Poseidon would possibly be a god like anhur. Throwing tridents at people. Or say if hercules is the next god. Thats hard spot there. I really would not know where to begin with him. But i still think poseidon is a MUST in a myth god game. How about Kratos. Now i would be ok with that! He such a bad***! Or a bad god like Gaea, the earth goddess; mother of titans, giants, Cyclopes, and other monsters. I really can come up with a lot of idea's with her, and Hi-Rez would just make her awesome.(the last two god idea's are melee gods, in my idea. Maybe make them when the game releases) What do you guys think? Please comment below.

Poseidon with a net, interesting. Maybe he'll have water around him everywhere he goes and will be an entirely different build off of that. Like he could affect targets within the water aound him and another ability to expand the aoe of his water and stun everyone in it!

If I remember this right, in the mythology hercules used the head of nemean lion as a hat and a wooden club as his FAVORITE weapon. And Hirez usually puts out gods, which use their favorite weapons. But you could actually be right, but this would seem weird seeing a large muscular man shooting with a small bow.

Maybe Hercules, being the man he is, punches the air so forcefully that it creates giant ranged airwaves.

This is beta. There needs to be some balance, but the idea during beta is to figure out what is working and what is not. This is sometimes done in pushing one area to an extreme, with intent on scaling it back, in order to see how thing play out.

If there are +/- more ranged or melee characters at any given point in them it means nothing. I'm sure HiRez has their priorities straight and is working at issues many levels deeper than transitional balance between the distance of a gods' basic attacks.

I will always love Hi-Rez. Like i said im not rageing so hard about not as many range gods. I belive and know the game will be fine. I just don't won't anybody to leave this game because they are not equal. I love Hi-Rez and i will never say anything about them. EVER! But this is a good site, where i can read what people think about the game. I trust Hi-Rez with my life. And i know anything they do will amazing. Nothing is wrong with Smite. I'm just giving my honest opion and idea's. I hope they listen to the people and their ideas, there are a lot of great ideas. So i trust them with anything they think of.
