Well as the title says this is a tier list, but not a normal one. this tier list is not about how good or bad is a god, but how much fun do you have with the gods.
My own tier list:
tier 1:
AMC
It's just fun to play with this guy you are easy to get but with the right moves you are a really annoying bee.
Chaac
he is so fun to play. and he wields a axe that he can throw and wield at the same time and he can summon the rain.
Hun Batz
he is a freaking monkey and it's so much fun to let a monkey jump on people or the sound of the ult
Kukulkan
I liked old ao better with the mighty storms but it's fun to mid with kukulkan and annoy people with the tornadoes and the ult
Ra
my first mage and i really like him mostly because lazorz
Scylla
because she is cute but so dangerous and the ult
Sobek
You gonna run away no you don't get back here and the swimming crocs
Thanatos
okay he may be bad but I love his looks especially his Halloween skin. And he has a scythe and not a mainstream bow or sword
Thor
the ult spin of death andf the wall are pretty fun to annoy people with.
Xbalanque
my first bought god and I still love him he is just so fun to play his ult is annoying he hurts the most when he gets the chance
tier 2
Agni
I love to throw meteors at people and i have some sort of obsession with fire sometimes
Anhur
he is a lion. he has a spear he can impale people with the spear.
tier 1: favorites
tier 2: I like to play them but like my favs more
All the other gods are for me in a ??? tier mostly because i haven't played as them enough or did really bad with them not trying them again.
Chang'e - So much fun to play, feels great and fluid, exceptional 1v2, 1v3.
Hel - Also fluid, successful last second cleanses and heal feel really rewarding. Not to mention how much she can snowball and carry in Siege/3v3.
Ne Zha - I just love his kit, my favourite assassin so far. Don't see why he's "underpowered".
Poseidon - Only recently started to play him, he's so fast and slippery, impossible to get focused by assassins with Gem of Isolation
Sun Wukong - His insane mobility makes him impossible to be caught, I do miss the knock-up on his 2 though. I also love stealing the siege juggernaut with him.
Serqet - Need I really say why? Her vp and looks may be not interesting, but her kit sure is, so much fun to play.
Zhong Kui - Really, that laugh is just too good. Also love him with Warlock's, Gem and sometimes a late ethereal.
Mostly takes Arena into account. Also, in alphabetical order and not order of how much I have fun with them.
Tier 1: My favorite gods/goddesses to play. Will almost never get bored of playing them.
Tier 2: I like playing, but not as much as Tier 1. Pretty much the ones I'll play when I'm in the mood.
Tier 3: I may or may not like playing much. If I don't mind them, it's very rarely I'll play them.
Tier 4: Need to play more of to decide whether or not I actually like playing them right now.
Tier 1
Aphrodite: I'm not amazing with her, but her potential for survival is insane. The person she's linked to has a huge chance at survival as well. Her ult is just so annoying to deal with if you're against her and her link.
Chaac: Dude is buff as ****. His long range poke hurts like hell, his heal sustains him amazingly, and I honestly still think his ult is still a bit OP, but if not many other people do, then eff it. I'll play him and enjoy watching the enemies scatter with it. His early game mana is a small issue, but that's resolved fast in Arena.
Chang'e: I still miss her being more heal centered, but I still love her. I love literally dancing across the battlefield and avoiding death in the process while delivering good damage on a short cool down, along with a crazy ult stun.
Geb: Such a fun support. His shield can be so trollish when you save a nearly dead teammate and they get away. His passive is such a great one as well.
Eset: My one and only go-to god/goddess. Her kit is so great to me, and she's insanely helpful in team fights, and since Arena is almost all team fighting, she shines well in it. Her stun, her slow/silence, and her ult are all great tools to help and save teammates.
Kumbhakarna: I've kind of fallen out with him lately, since I replaced him with Geb, and even started playing Athena more, but I still love playing him. He was the first Guardian I actually looked forward to playing, and it's not hard to see why. The amount of CC he has is insane, and his damage potential is actually really good as well.
Neith: Most people claim she's easy to play, and she is. I won't deny that, but that doesn't mean she isn't fun. Her escape is one of my favorites for hunters. Hell, just last night I completely shut down and denied a Loki so many kills in an Arena match just with her backflip. Her root is insanely deadly in Arena because once she hits someone, that person is already more than likely dead because he/she is just an easy target at that point. And if they actually do get away, if their health is low enough, they only just prolonged their life by a few seconds.
Serqet: She's just so much fun to play. She's in, gets her kill, and is out of there before anyone can lay a finger on her. Sure, there's more to her than that, but still. She's just a lot of fun to play.
Vulcan: I'm honestly shocked at how popular he's become lately. I've always enjoyed him, and I started playing him a lot more in Arena right before his popularity sky rocketed. Now, I've seen people calling for nerfs for him and complaining about him when not too long ago, I remember he was considered garbage. He's just fun as hell to play and his damage is insane.
Tier 2
Agni: Dude is just fun to play. Barrage the enemies with meteors and dash away when they get close.
Ah Muzen Cab: He's definitely not the best hunter. In fact, he's arguably the worst, even in Arena, but I still enjoy playing him. If played cautiously, he can do some serious damage. Hell, with 41 matches with him, I've still got 3 masteries on him, a 2.33 KDR, and a 65% win with him.
Anubis: He does a ton of damage. He's not the easiest mage to play by far. He pretty much relies on a combo to succeed, and if he misses his first part, it's hard to succeed it. Still, he's a lot of fun to play.
Apollo: He used to be my go-to god/goddess. He was the first I hit legendary with, and I used to sweep the floor with him. Unfortunately, one day over a year ago, I had a really rough time with him and did horrible for days with him, and I kind of fell out with him. I still enjoy playing him now, but not as much.
Artemis: Another one that could be classified as not very good as far as Hunters go, but I still enjoy playing her at times. I love Artemis in mythology, so I'm at least somewhat obligated to try my best to enjoy playing her, and I usually do. That last nerf to her 3 was stupid, though,
Athena: I've never been that good with Athena, but I've been trying to learn recently because she has amazing potential. Also, I do have her Red Star and Winter Olympian skins + her voice pack, so I want to get use out of those.
Bacchus: I used to despise playing him, but then I started doing pretty good with him and realized that he does have good potential. Once you get passed the point where he has some mana issues, which despite popular belief isn't too long of a wait, he's great. His initiation is great due to it being fast and effective without even needing blink.
Bakasura: Dude is a monster, and not just because of his look. Get Fatalis on him, and it's just gg because the true damage on his 3 shreds everything, and his ult is the same way while having a cripple to prevent escape. Ridiculous, in my opinion.
Cupid: I like Cupid. I don't want to say he's underestimated because he's really not in terms of Tier lists for CQ because he's just not as effective as many other Hunters in it. However, in pretty much every other mode, he works out pretty well.
Freya: One of the more unique mages in Smite since she's basic attack oriented. And she hits like a truck.
Guan Yu: He's a lot of fun to me. I've had tons of fun matches playing him, whether I played him as a jungler in a rare CQ match or a tank in Assault that got plenty of kills and no deaths the entire match. I just almost always have fun with him.
He Bo: Hits like a truck with everything and his 1 has an insanely short cool down. That's about it.
Hercules: Beefy as ****. Hard to kill and hits hard. Fun stuff.
Hun Batz: That ult is so nice. Rest of his kit is fine too, but that ult is what defines him.
Janus: Does stupid damage and has stupid utility. Stupid in this sense means more than just insane. That's pretty much what Janus is.
Kali: Been wanting to try her more. Used to dislike her because I only ever played her in Assault, which she's pretty awful in, but I've seen her do ridiculous things nearly every where else.
Loki: Easy kills all day, every day with him. He's fun for sure.
Mercury: Hit's like a whole convoy on trucks. It's honestly funny to see him kill so quickly.
Nu Wa: I still miss old Nu Wa a lot, but this new one works too. I absolutely hate her ult, though. 100% does not belong in this game.
Osiris: This guy can be so damn annoying to go against, but when you're the one playing him, people will fear you.
Poseidon: Those whirlpools are so trollish. Combo it with the Kraken, and there will be pain.
Rama: I was never the best with skill shotting, but for some reason, Rama clicks pretty nicely for me. Definitely ups the fun factor for me.
Scylla: I haven't been very good with her, but she's just funny as hell.
Sun Wukong: He's pretty fun. I see him as one of the biggest bad ***es in this game. Not in terms of being good, but he just looks like a bad ***.
Thanatos: He's fun. His scythe is insane with the damage, the healing, and the slow. And his silence is a pretty good indicator that you're probably going to die from him.
Tyr: His combo is nice, and with Arena being pretty much all team fighting, he helps drag enemies toward their death at either his hands or his teammates, so that's nice.
Ullr: Need to play him more, but he's always been fun with I played him. Interesting concept of switching between melee and ranged attacks.
Vamana: Can be tanky as hell, but man, if he gets on you with Fatalis in his ult, it's hurts like hell.
Xbalanque: Been playing a lot of him recently. It's just so fun watching the ridiculous damage he puts out with his basic attacks + his 1 + his items.
Ymir: He's good. He does insane damage for a Guardian, which makes him a fun hybrid to play in Arena.
Zeus: He's alright. His passive + 3 chunks enemy health nicely.
Tier 3
Ares: I know his chains and fire are nice in terms of damage, but I just don't have fun with him. His ult can be one of the most powerful ults in the game, or one of the most useless ones, depending on if the enemy team is smart enough to buy beads or use an ability that gives them cc immunity, and a lot of the time, even if they're not smart enough in the beginning, they'll wise up later on.
Cabrakan: I really should put him in Tier 4, but since I played and mastered him recently, I'm just going to say I rarely had a fun time playing him.
Hades: He can be fun when given at least a few damage items, but I'll very rarely pick him over a different tank or mage.
Ne Zha: I've never been good with him. Sure, I've had a few matches where I did well with him, but plain and simple: I suck with him, which means I rarely have fun playing him.
Nox: Another plain and simple: She ****ing sucks. I can't believe she's even in this game right now. Hi-Rez should be embarrassed by her, and two patches later, they've still done nothing with her, and three patches later, they've done nothing to address her actual problems. Her 1 is useless. Her ult has some use, but is almost always ineffective. What frustrates me more than anything is that she was a goddess I really wanted in this game, but hell, I just want her fixed or out of the game at this point. She's horrible. Hell, I can't even stand to keep playing her to master her.
Sobek: It's not that I dislike him, but I just don't have much fun with him. I'd rather play plenty of the other Guardians over him.
Sylvanus: Same thing said for Cabrakan applies here. Just didn't have fun with him when I recently strived to master him.
Zhong Kui: He's not bad. In fact, he can be fun to play. But I find it hard wanting to pick him over a lot of the other mages. The fact he has to be in melee range for a good majority of his abilities is a little off putting. Maybe I'll be more encouraged when I pick up his Ghostbusters themed skin.
Tier 4
Anhur: He's really hard for me to list him. I could put him in 2 or even 3, but I'm going to put him in 4. I have 4 masteries on him, but I got those over a year ago because he was my first go-to character to play. These days, I suck hard with him, but I want to try and get better with him again, so Tier 4 is where he'll stay for now.
Ao Kuang: Only played a few matches with him. Did pretty well most of them and had fun, but need some more time with him to find a place for him on this list.
Arachne: I think I've only played her once since her rework, and it was in Assault, which is horrible for her. Need to try her out more before I decide a place for her.
Bastet: Another one of those I used to do pretty good with, but suck with now. Need to work with her more to get better with her again.
Chronos: Almost the same as Anhur/Bastet, but I can't say I was ever great with him. He has pretty good potential. I just need to practice with him more, and I'm sure he'll be fun for me.
Fenrir: I kind of want to put him in Tier 3 because of how frustrated I've gotten with him, but then I remember that was in Assault, which he sucks in, I think. Recently playing him for the “whatevs”, I've actually done decent with him, so I want to work with him some more to see whether I'll like him or not.
Hel: I straight up just suck with her, but I love the idea behind her and everything, so I want to get better with her.
Kukulkan: Haven't played him since he was heavily nerfed, so still need to try it out. I was definitely happy for the nerf because I was sick of his tornadoes, but that was honestly mostly back when I mained Assault. Now I see it may have been a bit too much of a nerf to him. I don't know.
Nemesis: Haven't played her much. Need to play her some more to figure out her place.
Odin: Played him a few times since his rework, but haven't in a while. Need to play him more.
Thor: Haven't played him in a while because I sucked pretty bad with him for the longest time. Though, the last time I remember playing him, I think I did pretty well, so I want to try and play him again and get better.
Wait... you're wanting me to make a list? You're asking a guy that has 55% of games played as Loki to make a Tier of a bunch of gods? No can do... But I can give a few ;)
TIER 1: Loki
You can kill people in 0.6 seconds if you're fast enough (me). nuff said...
Kali
I feel like Ezio, tracking a target and then jumping on them and getting a new target... IT'S AWESOMEEE
Thanatos
Thanny is amazing. His Q HURTS (unless it got nerfed havn't played in a bit) and his E silence is so OP. Plus his Ult is a 'lol *** u m9' right in the face. What's not to love?
TIER 2: Hun Batz
Monkey magic, what else is there to say?
Ao Kuang THE OLD SCHOOL ONE
*** dis new serpent dragon dude he sucks... I want "A MIGHTY STORM" to be back again maaaaaan. I am saying old Ao simply because old Ao had more character then a flying snake... Also Ao looked wayyyyyy cooler.
so ye that be my list enjoy plz +Rep it took so much effort (lel not really) <3
