Smite messing up really bad..

For the past two days, my Conquest matches have been hitting a ping rage of 500-1000, making it almost impossible to play a decent match. Last night, it was normal, but all day today it has just been 500+.

I played a domination match the other day and the ping was normal, however, I haven't played other game modes enough to actually narrow it down to having Conquest as the problem.

Today, while playing a Conquest match, we were all in the middle of the lane doing a team fight. I was playing Arachne and I jumped on top of Isis. My teammate Poseidon used his ult on her, and apparently other players used some skills of theirs and all of a sudden, Arachne was actually through Isis' body, stuck in the corner of a wall, with Isis running into the wall. Everyone wasn't moving and all of a sudden, three members died including me. Couple of seconds after recovering from this huge lag spike, my game crashed. The amount of ping I have been experiencing has been RIDICULOUS. It is making Smite very unpleasant. I asked other members in the lobby and they said it was possibly my internet? However, my internet is working fine for everything BUT Smite..

I tried logging back in however, I was stuck at the character card loading screen for the longest time. I closed and reopened Smite and the loading just stood there. It eventually let me join after 10+ minutes but apparently, the cost to buy items were 9999? -screams.- After about 3 minutes back in, Smite kicks me back out to the log in screen where I tried to rejoin but to my avail, I was unable to join.

Now I noticed my laptop needed an update, so I figured maybe Smite's inability to work was due to having an laptop that's not up-to-date. So I did so, tried Smite, but the game ended and I lost all my good will. gg.

I tried joining another game. Everything went smooth up until the character card loading screen. I stood there for about 5 minutes and all of a sudden, I hear voice commands of a woman, Apollo, and Fenrir all saying commands like "Attack left lane", or "attack the minotaur". Keep in mind, I'm still not in actual game play, but the loading screen.

I don't know what's going on right now. Is this a problem on my side? Is it my internet? Laptop? What? Or is it something with HiRez and Smite right now?

Any and all insight is appreciated.

What I noticed is the voice you heard. That 3 sounds are the example of voice packs you can find in main menu.
