Also, pics from the closed Alpha are on the net showing it, I think it was supposed to be a boss-kind-of-monster, but that idea was scrapped and the model was used as an addition to the 5v5 map.


I know what the kraken is/ was but they're planing something big with it, I want to know what that will be (new model/where on the map/ect....)

hahaha something like 2 ships on the sea

the kraken is release on the enemie team after doing a map objective

mellee gods can enter the other ship
ranged gods have to nuke from afar XD

poseidon gets some sort of buff :p

NEW RUMORS. next god Aphrodite

All abilities and information are subject to change depending on HiRez balance and testing.
 ENAMORED (PASSIVE) Every 20 seconds an enemy minion will become a follower of Aphrodite (max of 3) and will take a single hit protecting her.
LOVE BIRDS (#1) Aphrodite summons a flock of doves in an area who heal allies and damage enemies over time.

SOUL MATES (#2) Aphrodite blows a kiss to another friendly god making them "soul mates" and providing a protection buff to both gods.

FERTILE GROUND (#3) Aphrodite moves faster and leaves behind a trail of flowers as she walks. Enemies are slowed (crippled) and take damage over time while walking through the flowers. Soul Mates (#2) also gain this effect (moving faster and leaving behind a trail as well).

UNDYING LOVE (#4) Aphrodite pledges undying love to herself and her Soul Mate. When this is active all crowd control effects are removed and both gods become immune to damage for 3 seconds (max rank).

SmiteFire & Smite

Smite is an online battleground between mythical gods. Players choose from a selection of gods, join session-based arena combat and use custom powers and team tactics against other players and minions. Smite is inspired by Defense of the Ancients (DotA) but instead of being above the action, the third-person camera brings you right into the combat.
