I'm not gonna hop on the band wagon and say go back to the old way of how things was, I'm not saying I like it either as I cannot judge until I play more then I'll decided if I hate it or not.

Thing is, I think most people say they hate it just because they want to be part of the crowd because they hear some other people hate it. Just like anything.

Anyways, I was wondering why the hell the new map looked like a dead forest, I was about to call it garbage until I realized that my graphic settings had to be changed then I seen what the map really looked like LOL.

I actually hated jungling and having junglers on my team, now I don't mind it as much.

Yes you can jungle more but thats kind of a good thing, at least when I was playing it seemed like a good thing EVEN FOR NON JUNGLERS. There is enough creeps in the jungle that you will actually have things to kill for extra gold/xp even with a jungler running around.

I actually like the fact that there is another xp/gold creep spot on the side near mid because when I travel though lanes I can pick them up and I'm not jungling. It used to be annoying that you go for the creeps in the jungle and your team mate took them, at least now there are more so you actually WILL HAVE something to kill when you decide to pass through if you have enough time.

So things I like
- I like that there are more buffs/creeps whatever, I actually get some **** now when I pass through lanes.

- I like the widened jungle I THINK, I play anhur alot and on the old map is was EASY PEASY for me to impale in the jungle, the walls were so close that if you meet anhur in the jungle just call yourself dead because theres no way to not get impaled. At least in this jungle its a bit wider and you have to set up your shots better. I like the widened jungle because I can actually ****ing move instead of my dumbass team mates blocking me and getting me killed. It allows for better strategy and things to do instead of being crammed up someones *** unable to get out.

- I like the realer look of the trees and the mood of the map now for some reason. I don't know why but I was playing in the morning and just looking at the map and trees made me happy to play smite, IDK some weird *** moody **** it puts me in a happy mood. Before the trees and stuff looked more cartoonish, now I actually feel like its a jungle.

Now things I'm not sure about, the towers being closer, I haven't played enough to think if I like it or not but I got used to it.

IMO I don't think anything is much different as in you can still do things you did before.
You don't have to have a jungler, It may be dumb but I have played with teams who had no jungler, some of the matches we just destoryed the lane in almost 4 minutes because the jungler was too busy. So in a instance like this the jungler wasn't a benefit and cost his team to lose towers.

Also I have played mid lane a few times today and honestly alot of the junglers make their team lose instead of win. I have had a Hun Batz earlier try to gank his little heart out and he failed every time which means not only did he fail but he wasted time and that time he wasted is being used by my team mates 2 v 1 ing a lane and taking the tower.

I don't see to much of an issue, basically I feel as if nothing has changed much that I was doing when playing smite from the start. The only thing I see is MORE CREEPS which too me I like because I have to things to do when I kill enemy gods or passing through lanes. I like the widened area and the map looks because it puts me in a relaxed mood.

Basically I am playing the same smite but with more jungle options available.
Also soloing a lane is possible, I soloed with HERCULES earlier, the problem is that people need to stay in tower range until later levels when they can take minion damage soloing.

I hate to admit it maybe its because I haven't played enough of this new conquest but so far I can't think of many cons. I really am starting to like the more creeps in the jungle and I am not a jungler, I think it gives me more things to do when I kill gods and plus the jungler hogs everything up so THATS GOOD YOU GET SOME **** FOR YOURSELF !!!

BASICALLY - Old Jungle Vs New Jungle
Old jungle = Crammed up jungle, less jungle creeps, no fog, longer tower placement
New jungle = Wider jungle, more jungle creeps, fog, shorter tower placement

Crammed up jungle = Get annoyed that your team mates are blocking your way, get annoyed that you are stuck, get annoyed period, all skills can be noobly thrown down in the jungle because its soo small.

Wider jungle = No more annoying waiting for your slow *** tank to move so you can catch up to the god in the jungle who is on low health, no more throwing down skills like a noob you will have to at least place it better to hit them since they have room to move now.

Less jungle creeps = level up slower, slower farm, little reward for killing gods, little to do when you kill a god other than farm your lane, get annoyed that your jungler took all the buffs and made you waste time

More jungle creeps = able to level up quicker, rewarded for killing a god, gives you something to do when you have spare time after you kill a god, your jungler will be taking other buffs and creeps while you actually get some creeps for once.

I think the new map isn't that bad

Am I crazy for saying this?

**** if this map is as bad as everyone thinks it is, I am either the only person thinking this or I HAVE GOTTEN USED TO IT WTF!!!!

The map isn't necessarily bad, except for the tower distance (IMO). But it's the fact that they're tryi g to make it so that you have to have a junglier. I know you said that you don't need one, but that could just be an instance of a great team versus a bad team. From what I've experienced, if you don't have a kinglet and the other team does, you're dead. Because their jungler gets free reign of the jungle and they get extremely fed. Which in turn leads to them facerolling. So maybe they could offer 2 different types of conquest maps, or modes. One for jungling, the other for no jungling.

that is actually a really good idea. before you pick god's both team vote on 2 map's one is the old one and one is the one we have now. on the old map you can't buy bumba's and no the new one you can.
that's would fix thing's and make everybody happy because than you have constant change and not necceserly a jungler. your team can discuss if they want a jungler and if they don't and you do well than you listen to them. naturaly there will be a few jerk's who will be very stubborn but this would make for probley the best solution to make everyone happy.

I like to jungle sometimes, but I hate to solo lane. Specially when the jungler is farming on the jungle while I need his help soloing vs 2. It's so annoying!

I like to solo against another solo laner. Then it's fun. I still don't like to play on the jungle role that much, found it too much confusing for me( but that doesn't mean I don't jungle sometimes).

I just hope HiRez fix it, and make Jungling optional. One of the reasons I like SMITE is that there isn't a mandatory role for real, like LoL.

IMO they need at least another conquest map and domination map so I don't get bored of it, they can at least just remake what the map looks like or make a new map and place the towers at the same spot or be creative and do something new, then you can vote on the map you wish to play. They should give you 5 seconds before you can vote so everyone can say which map too pick before people starting auto voting it.

Jungling idea came from League of LEgends where you have constant jungler , 1 solo laner, 1 mid and 2 bot... I hope SMITE wont get this pattern and install it here

the fact that it came from other moba's was already pretty clear to basicly everyone. and how it looks now smite will be like that... scratch that it is already like that.

I also don't like the new jungle meta. I would like to see Smite keep jungling optional and revert to the previous lane distance but keep the general setup of the jungle. The fog of war and the placement of the jungle camps is ideal IMO. If they can find a way to make jungling optional while keeping the current jungle setup I will be happy. Maybe they could make some of the jungling items weaker so it is less advantageous to jungler. At any rate, if I play mid, I don't want to get ganked every two minutes, especially since I play someone squishy like Anubis.

The funny thing is, everyone says jungling is the new meta... but in reality WE are the ones who created the new meta. Metas are created by people who change how they play, its us who decided to start doing this, we are the ones who choose to jungle so I find it funny everyone complains about it but in reality everyone is jungling so everyone contradicts themselves.

What I'm trying to say is that we are the ones behind the keyboard, if you choose to jungle that means you created the meta. I don't jungle
