HHow would that work if Finland was and is part of Scandinavia, therefore Norse. Or is there another group of Finnish civilization that i don't know.

Finland is not part of Scandinavia. And it has its own mythology. Scandinavia is Denmark, Sweden and Norway.

Geographically speaking, the Scandinavian peninsula is the area shared by Norway, Sweden and part of northern Finland.

So yes, bb, it technically is part of Scandinavia :)

Wutever, either way Finland has its own mythology and isn't related to Norse mythology in any way IIRC

Yeah you're right about that, my confusion is that in modern times Finland is part of the Nordic Union AND is part of Scandinavia, so I thought that Finland was a country run by the pagan Norsemen, but the only ones that were inhabited by pagan Norsemen were: Norway(no duh), Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, Greenland, and some of England coastal towns I believe.

The Finnish gods would be pretty awkward though, and no one could pronounce them :P

Most people I know can't even pronounce the Mayan gods correctly, let alone the Chinese. I don't think pronunciation would be a major hindrance.

Still would be a hindrance to some extent, the only mayan/chinese god with a lot of syllables is xbalanque (and AMC I guess), whereas the names of Finnish gods are things such as 'mesikämmen' are far more complex.

I just took a skim over the Finnish pantheon and maybe I'm pronouncing them wrong, but they don't seem all that difficult to me. Definitely no more so than Asian or Mesoamerican ones.
