I have been trying to figure out a way to build a Thanatos for a while now... Is this build actually viable? looks pretty good on paper. I know I lack penetration, but I hope my 2 will make it up. However, is my lifesteall or crit too low? I heard that lifesteal is very important for Thanatos. Thanks for the help!

Remove Trans. It is the most useless item for a pure damage build. If you don't want attack speed but power to go with lament go with Malice. Also. Just realized this is the wrong topic for this to be placed in: Go to "Build & Guide Discussion"

Thanatos is probably the only god that can spam abilities like crazy without the fear of running out of mana, so transcendence is an utter waste. I generally go for ninja tabi, jotunns,rage,Asi/bloodforge/soul eater,deathbringer and maybe finally a situational item.
The early rage lets u hit 500 damage on ur 3rd hit swing and with deathbringer your damage crosses the 1k mark so you can pretty much just attack enemy 3 times for assured kill and full life recovery.....Well most of the time :3
