I just had a match with the most stupid morons on the history of the planet. These kinds of idiots are what matchmaking is supposed to keep out, in theory.
You know the term, "Pentakill?" These guys got Penta-KILLED. I wish it was a joke.
Giving first blood within two minutes, dying five ****ing times by five minutes. They never ****ing grouped, they never ****ing did anything.
Artemis never ****ing grouped, always went off by herself, attacking ****ing jungle minions and lane minions while it was a 5v3 battle right ****ing next to her. She hit with about 10% of her basic attacks, because she could only hit people after using her ultimate. Fire Giant was being attacked, and she went off to attack the Gold Fury, even though Wukong and Ares were right next to the FG, waiting for her.
Ares never ****ing grouped, always went off by herself. He'd be basic attacking minions while people died right next to him. During the game, he'd be taking my jungle camps while never actually doing anything. He never played like a ****ing support, always chasing kills and never using his two or his ultimate. (Yes, he NEVER used his two. NOT ONCE) Let me put it this way: He seemed to think that waveclearing was his job, and he didn't use his ultimate for over ten trucking minutes, and when he finally did it, HE ****ING MISSED. HOW THE **** DO YOU MISS AN ENTIRE ARES ULTIMATE?
Our Wukong hit like a wet ****ing noodle and just died repeatedly, our Pos got some kills but KEPT GOING OFF MY HIMSELF.
It was ****ing ******ed. They died at least five ****ing times to going off alone, EACH, and THEY WENT ON AND DID IT AGAIN! AND AGAIN! AND ****ING AGAIN!
I have never seen a worse team in my life, and I occasionally smurf. BECAUSE NOOBS KNOW THEY ARE NOOBS AND ARE WILLING TO LISTEN! Because even NOOBS are willing to LEARN! These guys WERE MORONS!

This is one of the few reasons as to why I stopped playing Smite. The other reason is simple: Hi-Rez has little idea as to how to either properly balance their game or add meaningful and well-timed content. To be honest, I don't suspect that they ever will learn to do these things. They are a week from releasing their game and it is still in an extremely flawed state, simply because they spent too much time introducing not-so-useful content and making changes that did not need to be made.
What really pisses me off is that the Gods are so good and I really want to play them, but there are so many deterrents that prevent me from even patching the game, mainly what I mentioned above. Plus, how many of them still need balances? I can guarantee that over half of the roster does. Some of them, like Chronos, I believe to be impossible to balance simply because of the nature of their kit. Others, like Bastet, have been in dire need of changes but have been postponed to the release day, if at that.
A large group of us has been playing DawnGate, which I honestly find to be a largely superior game considering Smite's current state. I highly recommend that everyone here try the game if they can get a key (which some of us might be able to help with). It is fun, has a lot of fresh ideas, and it lacks many of the problems that seem to be inextricably bound to Smite.
As such, many of you won't (or haven't already) be seeing me around much, although I will continue to check up on things every couple of days. Much like OddArcade, I have lost all passion to work on my guides, both finished and unfinished. Plus, not much goes on here anyway, let's be real about this.
Know that I either don't respond to PMs, or forget them after I have checked them. If anyone needs me (although I doubt anyone will), talk to me on Skype. I am on there almost constantly and I WILL respond. My Skype name is on my bio page.

Can you do all of us a favor and list those flaws specifically? I don't care if the list is disorganized, messy, and five pages long, or isn't even properly spaced, as long as you give a complete list.
Even if you have stated them before, even if you're tired of mentioning them, please, for our sake, list them again.

For me its the toxic community. When I used to play this game I used to be the guy setting the meta, now I'm the guy that if deviates from standard meta (OP AP BACCHUS BELLY FLOPS OF DOOM) I get the biggest bollocking ever.

And that is the reason why I have ended up doing the same as Ferrum, I don't get shouted at in Arena or Joust, but Conquest has gotten silly! I don't remember the last time I solo queued simply because they don't get all toxic on my *** :(
Annnnnnd this is why I still haven't gotten round to to updating my guides, I don't have the passion or drive to get through the raging nastys and become competent at the game. I'm trying though.

I remember 1 match i played with one friend where it was us 2 and a half player vs 5.
The 2 of us and 2 other players who were so small and incompent they counted for a half player and a dc who fed... The 2 of us won... We carried so hard that it was hilarious. That's fun but it just shows how much the matchmaking is flawed.

Anywho, I'm sad about that. I've had a couple of bad games before ''quitting'' Smite, but yeah. I recommend you trying to play some other MOBAs, and take a break from Smite. Almost everyone from SmiteFire is doing it as well.
