This is my build for whenever I want to just mindlessly play. Very easy build to play.
The more experienced player can turn off auto-buy, but when I'm just mindlessly playing, I like to throw on auto-buy and just go to town... The items are set up to progress through the game and turn you into a God-shredding force by mid-late game.
The build's damage comes from your basic attack, which makes it so easy to play.
EARLY GAME
You're very squishy early game, it's easy to use ability 3 to dip out of sticky situations to be able to survive other players abilities and attacks.
Early game I tend to try to clear as much as possible. The faster you get items the better. Your passive allows you to deal more damage as you get kills, so 1 for 1 situations like tower dives and chases deep into enemy territory early on in the game prove to be beneficial later on. (Just be smart about 1 for 1's).
MID/LATE GAME
Once you get "Hastened Fatalis" (Final progression of item 2), you can use your basic without movement penalty. This makes clearing less risky. After you get "Odysseus' Bow" (third progression of item 3), your attack speed goes way up.
THIS IS WHERE IT GETS FUN.
Items 4,5, and 6 just increase the amount of damage you can do. I call the part of the game after you purchase Odysseus' Bow, the "chase phase".
Remember all the times you've ever had an enemy down to a smidge of health and you just can't kill them? That's gone now. As long as you can keep hitting the target God with your basic, you will kill even the strongest gods with ease. Towards end game, if another god can't out damage you, they'll never survive a 1v1 situation.
During chase phase, you can use your ult to stop running enemies in their tracks. Not only can they not see you coming, but after the 3 seconds of darkness, they are frozen in place for 1.5s. This is more than enough time for you to get the kill.
When you're not chasing other Gods, work with your teammates to coordinate your attacks. It is easiest with tanky Gods as a partner. You're not going to be the "run in and kill everyone at full health" guy, but with help, you can dish out huge amounts of damage.
Ability 1 - Branching Bola
This should always be on unless you're running out of mana and need to save some for ability 3 and an escape. Other than escape, use all mana on this ability
Ability 2 - Poison Darts
I never really use this ability, makes you too vulnerable to use in 90% of situations since you want to play this build from a distance. If you come up on some people attacking a buff or get thrown in a close quarters situation, by all means, do it.
Ability 3 - Rising Jaguar
This is your escape. Use this when you need to make a quick out. I rarely use this as an offensive maneuver, only really to catch up to fleeing prey.
Ult - Darkness of Nights
Use this anytime when someone is trying to run from you or your teammates. It is very disorienting to have your field of vision diminished. It is great to be able to freeze someone in place to catch up to them. Great tactic to get kills.
Passive
Get kills. Get kills. Get kills. It makes it tougher to be good late game when you don't have 6 kills for the max buff. Again, the occasional tower dive or chase into enemy territory isn't bad EARLY game if the situation is right.
Get items as fast as possible. You can't really do much vs other gods until you buy the tip tier of item 3.
Starter items will help with that but aren't essential.
Meditate relic is crucial to you and your team. Cas save you from a trip to the fountain in some cases. Really helps in early game to restore mana when you run out.
After you buy all 6 items, buy the damage and defense consumables. Damage consumable paired with the Bull Demon or Fire Giant is... well... quite deadly.
You're going to be squishy at first. Smart play and teamwork can do wonders. The occasional tower dive or chase to get the kill to aid your passive isn't bad if you're smart about the situation.
